He has the same face mold and the same boy body as the previous white boy dolls. Contrary to what the description says, he doesn't have "open and close" eyes and his eyelashes are painted on, like the previous boy dolls, which is fine with me, since the long eyelashes would make him look girlish, imo. Again, contrary to what it says here, he doesn't have a "soft torso". It's a hard plastic torso, like the previous boy dolls, which I prefer, cause, if he had a soft torso, some of the My Life As Boy Wear clothes probably wouldn't fit him. Overall, great doll for girls and boys alike and for the Adult collector. NOTE: the box doesn't have a plastic cover as in the previous MLA doll boxes.
I almost cannot believe this but this doll looks just like my great grandson. He really wanted this doll and he absolutely love it, I highly recommend.
Once he got a haircut my son loved him.
the only thing worse than a man with a man bun is a boy doll with a man bun....looking for boy doll that looks like a boy...ugh...come on.....yikes!!!
Needs to look more like a boy instead of a girl dressed in boy clothes!
The 7" and other small dolls look OK, but the hair on this 18" doll is ridiculous. I was certain it was a mix-up until I saw that the listing here is the same. I'm not saying boys can't have long hair. I've had everything from a ponytail to a shaven head. A topknot seems silly for this particular doll, since they're fairly impractical in the trees, but whatever, trends are trends. If you can't do the topknot / man-bun with a fade on the sides, though, just forget it. This doesn't look trendy, it looks like a mistake.
