This is adorable. The chair has a couple positions. Perfect for any 18 in doll. I love tje little foot spa it came with little orbi type balls that got larger with water. I was impressed that the nail polish was actually useable on dolls and washes off. I would absolutely buy them separately. This came with a play face mask and cucumbers. Nail polish amd cotton balls. Little mini bottles of salon supplies a magazine and of course the foot spa. For tje price I would love to have seen the spa light up but we had fun seeing how big we could get the orbies. The box shows a table which doesn't actually come with the kit so that was bit of a disappointment . My son even wanted to play with this. It goes great with all the other american girl stuff amd the quality is just as good. Price is good for tje stuff it comes with. Overall this is a great gift. I even like to play with it .
I received this MLA SPA PLAY SET for my daughter. She absolutely loved it. The set comes with several pieces that make it nice for great pretend play. The colors are very girly and cute. All little girls will enjoy playing with this set, I definitely recommend.
I received this product for free from the walmart spark review program. This spa set is so cute! My daughter absolutely loves it. First off, this product is made to go to the my life doll. Everything fit to my daughters doll perfectly. The doll fit into the spa chair just right. This came with 19 assesories as well. Some assesories like the cucumbers for her eye are quite small so keep that in mind. Her favorite feature was the water beads for the foot soaker. They do not come ready to use. You must soak them in water and it does take a few hours to fill up. They also get everywhere and are bouncy. This is a great fun kit for the my life doll and I would definitely recommend.
The My Life As (MLA) SPA PLAY SET has a lot of cool little accessories included in this kit. There is a spa chair that is able to recline back for the doll to feel more comfortable and it can sit back up. There is a little foot bath, A magazine, two little cucumber slices for the eyes, a green spa mask, A foot scraper, a fingernail scrub brush, three fake cotton balls, one bottle of lotion, one jar of foot scrub, one towel, A little headband that looks like a kitty, one magazine, one bottle of real nail polish, one bottle of nail polish remover that is fake and one little pack of water gel beads. You place the little gel beads in warm water and over a couple of hours they expand in size. These little gel beads go into the foot bath where your doll can put their feet in and squish around in them. This kit is made to go with 18 inch dolls but my daughter actually likes to use it with her other dolls and stuffed animals too. I would say this kit is really nice and has kept my daughter busy for a long time playing with it and she's been having a blast.
This play set is so adorable. If you have a daughter, niece, grandchild etc. that likes to get her nails done they will love this set. The set is designed to go with the My life 18 inch dolls. The doll fits perfectly into the spa chair. This set comes with lots of spa accessories and will provide endless hours of imaginative play. My daughter loves this play set! I highly recommend this play set. So Cute!
Every time my seven year old and I walked down the toy aisle at Wal-Mart, she would always stop and drool over the My Life As section. Everything was so big and nice to look at. But, because of the price, I always kept her moving. So, when I was able to review this spa set, in return for my opinion, I jumped on it. I opted for this set to go along with two dolls I'd selected. My girls went crazy when everything arrived. Once the spa set was unboxed and I had everything laid out, my girls were awed. They didn't even know what everything was for. I had to explain it to them. The first thing they wanted to do was get some water in that foot bath and get some fingernails painted. They love this set and the dolls. I very much appreciate the attention to detail and the quality of the toys. The chair can recline a little or a lot while the doll rests with her face mask and cucumbers on her eyes or she can sit upright while she soaks her cute feet in the spa bath, with straps to hold her in so she does slide out of the seat. They even have bath beads that grow as they absorb water! That was a mega hit with my girls. I was surprised that the set did not come with the small table pictured on the box to hold the small grooming items. But, my girls could not have cared less. I have a feeling this is the first play set in a collection of MLA play sets for my little ones.
The one downfall to the spa set is it does not recline easily and I worry that the reclining feature will snap as the plastic isn't that strong. However, it's totally worth it. The cucumber are my favorite part! My daughter loves all of the tiny accessories included, the nail polish works and the water beads that grow in the foot spa is super cute and fun. The magazine holds open well and the face mask is amazing! Too fun!! My daughter loves to play with stuffed animals and this works perfectly.
This spa is is a nice accessory to the my life doll, The set comes a variety of accessories including a foot bath and beads that expand for the foot bath, a foot scrubber, a magazine, little table and some little bottles, they include a little nail polish that you can apply to the dolls nails. The chair reclines and the has a belt to hold the doll in place. Some negatives- the beads take about 8 hours to expand. It would be nice if they added a small pocket on the side of the chair to hold the magazine. The doll seated in the chair does not reach the foot bath, It would be nice if maybe they angled the foot bath so where her feet could go in . And lastly I believe when a Troy has a lot of little accessories that the toy should come with a little mesh bag so that you can hold all of the accessories so that they don't get lost, otherwise I think this is a great toy
I received my life spa place that as part of a review program to use and leave my honest opinion on. When I receive the place that there was lots of pieces to it there's a spa chair a foot spa Real nail polish for the doll a facemask a tall a magazine for the doll to read and many more pieces. It's a super cute set and my kids had tons of fun painting the dogs nails and putting the mask on or my only thing is the doll doesn't hold the magazine very well. But overall it's a super cute set for any my life fan
We've had a blast playing with the My Life As Spa Play Set! This is such a fun set if your kids (or you) love the My Life As or any 18" poseable dolls! I was really impressed with the quality of the the chair that comes in this set. It has a nice weight to it without being overly heavy. I had honestly expected it to be much lighter, so I was quite pleased when we received it. It has several adjustable positions, so you can recline your doll or even tilt her forward. There's an attached belt at the seat to keep your doll securely in place as well. The accessories are fun and our favorites were, of course, the spa gel beads and the real nail polish that you can use on your doll! The nail polish dries fairly quickly and is very easy to wipe off with a wet wipe or cloth. It's slightly difficult to apply though, because the doll's nails are so much tinier than the brush, but we still had fun! The spa beads were so neat and my girls absolutely loved them! It was a little hard to get the doll's feet to fit into the foot spa very well, but it worked ok as long as you tip the chair as far forward as possible and don't really put the top part on the foot spa. The rest of the items included in the set were cute! We really did love the cucumber slices, although, they are almost impossible to get to stay on your doll's face because her eyelashes get in the way! I do want to note that the packaging for this set is a little misleading because on the box it shows the items sitting on a little side table, however, this set does not include one. Overall, a very cute play set that's lots of fun!
