I bought this 18 in African American Bakers Dollar for my two year old granddaughter, she loves her new companion. The doll is beautiful and looks like her; she is the same color, her hair is styled naturally in two puffs and her little out fit is Up to date
Gave these as Christmas gifts; my niece's loved them.
I have not opened the package but I'm sure I/she will LOVR - IT
My 4 year old daughter received this doll as a Christmas gift from her dad. (She wanted a doll who's eyes open and close). She was so excited when she opened it became it looks just like her and has the same hair. After a quick google check I found out the doll has wire in its legs making them bendable for easy sitting. (Although it does look a little weird) The eyes open and close as expected and the plastic arms, legs and face makes for easy cleaning. The arm and leg joints are a little stiff making it difficult for her to maneuver but that's expected with a new doll, I'm sure with time they will loosen up. The doll will stand on its on with or without the shoes but the doll has to lean forward ever so slightly to stand so she looks like she might be falling from the side view. She hasn't taken the hair down yet so I'm not sure how that would look or if it's easy to brush. I can tell you the dolls hair is soft and the curls are beautiful. He also bought the doll a couple outfits, the pants are a little on the tight side making it difficult for her to change its clothes, a older child shouldn't have any problems with it. Considering the doll cost under $30.00 it's makes for an affordable first doll, I definitely recommend this doll.
9 year old sister bought it with her own money she saved up. She wanted an American girl like doll and fell in love with this girl. Super cute and amazing hair. She loves having a doll that looks like her.
My granddaughter loves this doll. She is into baking. Got the schoolgirl doll for her sister, she wants to teach, she loves hers too. Great deal on the two brought together. Will be buying other dolls and accessories from this brand.
A beautiful doll well made
I purchased this for my granddaughter who is 5 and I am positive she is going to love it. The doll is substantial in length, appears to be of good quality, and her eyes are bright and expressive. Best of all she loves to bake and so does my granddaughter. Can't wait until Christmas.
This doll is a good substitute for American girl doll, I bought one to add to my collection, I only wish that the lips were a more natural lip color.
I bought this for my 4 year old niece for her birthday. She loved it. But when she tried to have her sit on the bed her legs didnt go out right and she cant sit. She can sit on a recline as she leans back but then it looks like she is napping because her eyes close. Her arms are very stiff and difficult to dress because her arms only go back and forth and they kinda need to touch in order for shirts to be put on. So she cant dress her herself. An adult has to dress the doll and she likes to change her clothes a lot. The doll doesnt sit well in her little chair that was bought for the doll.
