This is a very cool and lively play set. The toilet opens and closes and it makes a flushing noise when the button is pushed. The shower head is removable and can be put back in place. The lights above the mirror come on when pressing a button. Even the cabinet doors open. The small toiletries that come with it can be put in there or in the shower basket. We don't have the same brand dolls, but my daughter has bathed many of her dolls and plushies...my son, too! Santa will have to bring a My Life As doll for Christmas.
I got this in the mail so I wasn't sure what to expect. I was surprised at how big and nice it actually was. I just got my daughter and my life doll for her birthday so I wanted to get a few accessories for it. My daughter loves to take showers so I thought this would be a good idea. She plays with it just about everyday and pretty nice and durable. I love all the colors also.
The toilet makes an actual flushing sound when the button is pressed. My grand daughters laugh every time they hear it. The vanity lights do light up, but they only stay on for less than a minute. The lights are a yellowish color, and make the vanity/sink look real. The doors to the vanity close securely, and the inside is great for extra storage. The shower head is removable just like an actual shower, and it snaps back into place. The toilet is set in the shower, and it took us a little time to figure out that it is removable for the shower, there is a little plastic screw on the bottom that disconnects it from the shower floor. The play set structure is about 20 inches, so 18 inch dolls will fit easily. Its is made with of hard plastic, the set and accessories (including the shower curtain) seem to be very durable, and made to last. My grand daughters have a few American dolls, and the play set works well for these. As I do for most products that I am unfamiliar with, I checked the My Life website and read that this is a company of all women making these products. I love the diversity that their play sets offer young girls, and since the bathroom play set is such a big hit with us, I have ordered another play set, and dolls that my grand daughters can relate to real life.
My daughter absolutely loves this play set! It is colorful and very detailed. It keeps her busy for hours. It has a vanity, a shower stall and curtain, a toothbrush, and so many other little details that make the experience enjoyable. The toilet even makes a realistic flushing sound! Even my husband and I got a chuckle out of that when we first heard it. The size of the play set fits nicely with American Girl dolls and similar 18" dolls. The set came with the batteries which is always a plus. The lights and sounds really make a difference in the overall experience. This play set really adds an extra layer of imagination for a child and is sure to keep them interested for many uses. This set is a great add for any 18" doll and I highly recommend it.
The My Life As Bathroom Playset is so much fun! It's so cute, I'm wishing they had things like this when I was young. It fits perfectly with My Life As dolls, or any 18” doll. The toilet makes a very realistic sound, and the vanity lights are the best. My little girl was thrilled with this product even before she knew about the lights and sounds, but when I showed her the lights she was so excited. Definitely a great product and the accessories of toothbrush and toiletries are just perfect. They fit perfectly into the My Life As dolls hands. Will definitely be purchasing other furniture and accessories from My Life As!
Very entertaining play set! It was a bit difficult to get out of the box but other than that a great product. My niece loves how realistic it is. The toilet makes an actual flushing sound. The lights really light up. The play set measures at about 20 inches. This makes it the perfect size for use with 18 inch dolls including American girl dolls. Every thing is very realistic. I believe this makes it even more fun to play with. The vanity doors open and close which can be used for storage of smaller parts. The shower head is removable as well. The set is made out of plastic. It seems very well built and durable. My niece isn't very gentle so to speak with her toys and we haven't had any issues with breaking. This is a great play set. It is well made and will provide hours of fun and entertainment. I highly recommend it.
My kids are living this toy set. They have been playing with it for over an hour now. It's a cute nice little set the bathroom sink vanity lights up the toilet flushes the cute little toothbrush and shampoo is that come with it. It's light weight looks easy to break if not played softly. Even more difficult to take out of the packaging but over all is one of the cutest play sets ever.
I received this product for review purposes and absolutely love the set, it has many cute pieces and is good quality. Its definitely a great gift for kids that love playing with their dolls.
Oh, My Goodness! This set is so adorable. My daughter is obsessed with her My Life doll and collecting things for her doll to do is her utmost priority as a little girl. This set is perfect for little girls. The recommended age is from 5 and up and I think this is a perfect play set for this age range. I love this set because it is perfect for helping my daughter practice her own hygiene with practice on her doll. It is also a great way for me to show her good hygiene with her doll. Now she loves it for completely different reasons. The flushing toilet was such a hit. This set does not come with any pretend toilet paper, but my girl had no problem with that. She like getting her own toilet paper from the restroom for her baby doll to use. I get to work on teaching her not to use the whole roll on her doll, or herself. Also, the vanity lights work! So cute. I love everything about this set and my daughter loves everything about this set even more than I do. There are just a few things that this set is missing, that I wished would have come with along with the package. I did not like the fact that it did not come with a towel or washing sponge. It also did not have any pretend soap to go along with the set. I think that these three items would be essential items to put into this package. But they did not so for that reason I did not give this set five stars.
This is a very cute playset for American Girl dolls or similar sized dolls. It comes with a shower, toilet, sink/vanity with light, some shampoo bottles, cup, toothpaste and toothbrush. The shower curtain on the shower is made a fabric. Handle on shower is made to turn. Shower head is detachable from the base also. However, that is a disadvantage as the shower head very easily falls out of the top piece so you constantly have to reattach it. Half of the time my daughter cant get it to stay attached without the help of a rubber band which can be very frustrating for her. Toilet is cute, lid goes up and there is a button ont he top of the tank to push and it makes a flushing noise. Toilet size is a little small for dolls. Vanity has a faucet and 2 doors on it for storage. The doors on the vanity do not stay closed very well and seem to just fly open randomly. They seem to snap shut and you think they are shut tightly but then will randomly pop back open. Vanity mirror is very cute and provides a good reflection. you can also push a button on the vanity and it turns on the two light bulbs above the mirror. I received this product as part of the spark reviewer program. In my honest opinion this is a cute toy but not worth paying full price for because of the issues I have stated above. If you can get on sale or on a clearance maybe by it for your little one.
