My Life As A Day in the Life Doll Clothing Set, Boy

This is a great set at a terrific price. I was delighted to find these elastic-waist outfits all fit not only the My Life boy dolls, they also fit the 18" My Life girls, the 18" Our Generation/Battat boy/girl dolls, the 19" Heidi Ott Faithful Friends boy/girl dolls, the slimmer 18" Magic Attic and Carpatina dolls, and the slightly plumper 18" American Girl dolls*. They probably also will fit some other similar 18" dolls, whether boy or girl. The basketball and khaki pants each have a cute little drawstring detail at the waist, and work well for either girl or boy dolls. The basketball set is also a great inexpensive outfit for the A.Girl 1974 era Julie doll or Magic Attic Rose doll, who both play basketball. (Dollar Tree sells cute doll-sized basketballs for $1 that you can add to the set.) The shirts all have full openings with velcro in back for easy on/off dressing, and all the items are done in similar mix/match colors, which gives them a lot of versatility for either boy or girl dolls, and extends the total number of potential outfits. My only complaint is that they came with only one pair of shoes, as they did NOT include 3 different pairs of shoes for them the way they did in all the similar clothing sets for My Life GIRLS, which are sold at the same $20 price. (They seem to be cutting corners a bit on the boy dolls once again-- just like not giving them the open/shut eyes or eyelashes like the My Life girls all have. ) I hope My Life will make additional boy outfits, with more shoes, and also offer the boys with open/shut eyes with lashes-- plus give more selection in the boy dolls themselves in the future. How about some boys with blonde, red, or black hair and eyes in blue, hazel, or green, My Life and Walmart? Meanwhile, my hat is again off to you for producing ANY boy dolls and outfits, which are rare to find-- especially at such a good price! *P.S. Note on fit: The shirts and plastic slit-back tennis shoes fit a bit tighter on the A.Girl bodies, especially on the slightly fatter older Pleasant Co. dolls. The shoes are particularly tight on AG's slightly wider feet, so a younger child will likely need help to get them on/off an AG doll, but the shoes fit fine on all the other dolls mentioned. On the slightly taller Ott F. Friends doll, the arm sleeves look more like 3/4 length on their longer arms, but the shoes fit FF dolls fine, thanks to their slimmer feet and some extra length built into the shoes. Despite the FF dolls' longer legs, even the pants length is not bad on them, especially if pulled down just a bit below the waist, like mid-rise or hip hugger pants.
I been wanting this set after a lot of my friends on Instagram found it for $9 I had seen it earlier for $15 but today I got lucky and found it for $9 I had to get it because my my life boy doll don't have many outfits and I like how there are many pieces to mix and match I wish there was another pair of shoes.
When I saw that WalMart offered an outfit set beyond what the boy doll sold in the store comes wearing, I knew I had to purchase the set for my daughter. The clothes are super cute. I just wish they sold more than the one set. Boy dolls are hard to come by, and the clothes can be pricey elsewhere. I was pleased that WM has an affordable option!
