I am surprised at the size, I thought it was going to be smaller, but this horse is huge. it's 18 inches from hoof to the top of its head. it's not heavy at all. it's body is made out of plastic, but it's covered with a soft furry coat, so the horse is soft to the touch. the tail and mane are real hair so it can be brushed by your kid, the saddle and bridle come off too. they are just plastic and a fabric blanket under the saddle. the legs are really movable, down to the hooves. the ears are able to move, but I couldn't get the head to move, it doesn't even move up or down. this horse is brown, except for the blaze on his head and his hooves. also in the box they give a trail map or feed menu, and a certificate of authenticity. that's everything they include with the horse. it says surface washable, and to not use heat on the mane or tail. probably no curling iron etc. it's suppose to go with the my life dolls, but my daughter loves it, by itself. i also saw on the back that you could buy a newborn foal, so i might have to look for that for her.
This horse toy is beautiful. So nice that I went out and purchased two more for Christmas. It's soft and very well made. My daughter has been playing with it for days and having all her dolls “ride” the horse. It's fully poseable so it's pretty realistic as far as toys go. It comes with a few accessories- a bridle, a saddle, two leg warmers and ours came with a map. It also comes with a genuine certificate of authenticity. You can brush the mane and tail for this horse and the hair seems to be well made and doesn't tangle easily. According to the packaging you can use this horse with most 18” dolls. Any child who loves horses will love this toy.
My Life As Horse, Chestnut, 18 was selected from the Wal Mart Spark Reviewer Program for my honest opinion regarding the product. My daughter loves this horse and wants to take it everywhere she goes. A little different upon arrival based off the picture, I thought the hair was suppose to be darker and I thought the horse was suppose to be a little darker but my never knew what it was suppose to look like prior to and she loves it. The horse was securely packed inside the large box it came in, had me thinking it was something totally different. Securely attached to the box. Came with it's own little birth certificate, I thought that was so cute and you can personalize it. It is very soft and depending on the child's age, can be heavy. I love that the hoof part of the horse can be moved, making it seem like the horse is actually prancing like a real horse. Looks like I am going to have to purchase the my life doll because my daughter did ask where was the doll that goes with the horse, as if she does not have enough dolls already. I think this was a great selection and a great addition to add to a little girls world.
I received this My Life As horse and was pretty excited to give this to my almost four year old. She LOVEs it!! For any little boy or girl who loves horses, this is so much fun!! The horse is the perfect size to match up with the My Life As dolls. We love how the horses can be posed and can stand. They have some accessories attached such as a bridle, saddle, and blanket and my little one really enjoys taking these off and putting them back on. Just so fun!!! She also loves the long horse mane and tail and enjoys having it braided and what not. Overall, I was really impressed with how well this My Life As horse is made and holds up to the wear and tear of my kiddos playing with it constantly. It was a nice addition to our toy room. My girls love anything related to horses so this is just perfect. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who's child loves horses. We actually went and bought a second one so that each of our daughters could have their very own.
The horse chestnut is very well made. The coat is a very soft beautiful brown fur. Chestnut has a long brown tail and mane along with brown bangs. The tail is long enough for kids to braid it. Kids can comb the tail also. The hair does easily tangle so braiding the tail definitely cuts back on the tangles. Chestnut stands up without falling over. The saddle and blanket under the saddle are removable. The saddle also has pretty pink reins. Dolls can be positioned on the saddle for pretend play. The kids enjoyed playing with chestnut. It can provide lots of imaginative play, especially if your little one loves horses. Chestnut also has removable leg warmers on the front legs. The hoofs are made of durable plastic and provide good support for chestnut to remain standing during play. This is a great toy for kids and I do recommend. It's well made, has a soft coat and will provide lots of imaginative play. Kids love to take the saddle on and off and to brush or comb the hair. Dolls fit on the horse for fun imaginative play.
This horse is a great addition to my children's set. The dolls fit perfectly on the horse and they do not slide off. I was quite impressed with the size and quality of the horse. My children like combing his mane, and braiding it. this horse is amazing for any little girl (or even boy) who likes animals and dolls and pretend play. The saddle is brightly colored and has a nice design on it. The horse weighs roughly 2.5 pounds my three year old carries him around just fine. Even my 7 year old enjoys playing with him and pretending. I like the chestnut brown shading of the horse as well. I would recommend this product; it's a great toy and helps children learn about animal life and riding horses. Children enjoy this toy and the accessories that go with it. The price also is not bad considering its size and quality. This horse toy will definitely last for years to come in my children's playroom. The dolls are great as well and one of my children's favorites for imaginative play, so this was a great addition. Walmart did great carrying this line! The packaging is also bright and colorful and fun.
My Life As Horse is about 18 inches tall and 21 inches long. It's a big toy and goes with “My Life As...” toys. But it can certainly be played with alone too. Ours is the chestnut color which has brown matching mane and tail which can be brushed and styled. The body of the horse is a soft velvety feel. It comes with many accessories; bridle with reins, saddle with pad, two removable leg wraps, a trail map and certificate. I will upload those pictures so you can see them better. My daughter absolutely loves playing with this horse and has not gotten tired of yet. We've have had it for one week.
I received the My Life As Horse, Chestnut and was pleasantly surprised at how large this horse is. My girls were really surprised and happy as none of their dolls had anything large enough to play with that were to scale. I've already broken up one fight between them so I know they love this horse. It is very beautiful and soft there really is a lot of attention to detail with this toy. The mane and tail seem like very high quality hair too. If my girls are happy then I am happy.
This was the perfect gift to present to my daughter for doing so well on her first week of Kindergarten. My daughter loves anything pink and princessy but she also has a huge love for anything animal related. She has had other horses in the past, but nothing quite like this one. This horse stands 18" high and is great for her to use with her bigger dolls. The thing I like about it the most is how the legs are articulated so you can place them various ways. This horse also comes with a bridle, reins, saddle and even a small blanket to place under the saddle. This horse is extremely soft and she loves getting to brush the mane and tail. She makes up so many different stories and I feel it encourages her imagination which I feel is an important part of development. Even with as much as she loves this horse, she also has 2 brothers that love to play with it just as much as she does, and she will occasionally share it with them. Overall, I am extremely happy with this product and will definitely be considering other "My Life" products to add to this one with her upcoming birthday and Christmas not to far away. I would most definitely recommend this product to any parent with a little girl that loves horses or has a little girl into the "My Life" dolls.
I have two daughters, 7 and 5 years old. They Both love horses. My older daughter rides horses and when she saw I was going to Give this to our five year old, for her birthday, She was so jealous. She has many horses, But they are all made out of hard plastic. She wants this one, because it has soft fur And that reminds her of brushing and taking Care of a real horse. The horse is big and soft And has moveable legs that you can pose. It Can be used with bigger dolls. It's very cute!
