I saw that there were no videos of this massager in action, so I did a short one to show you how it works and what each button does.Right to the point: The "kneading" motion of this massager is actually really effective, especially on the neck and maybe arms and legs where it can squeeze the muscles between the rotating parts. It's less effective at kneading on flatter surfaces like the back and bottom of the feet, but still works pretty well. It's great that it comes with a 12v plug, so you can use it on long car trips.I have a Brookstone INeed massager that's similar in shape, but it uses a thumping/vibrating motion, which works better than this one on the back but not as well on the neck, but then again costs at least 2x as much. In fact, I believe this Naipo is a copy of the Brookstone Shiatsu Neck and Back Massager .Note that there are some copies of this massager that appear to be almost identical, so shop by price among them. Update: okay, now I’m in love too! This thing is amazing!——-My boyfriend cannot stop raving about this Nampo back and neck massager! He has a neck injury that often causes him discomfort, and this thing seems to help that a lot. Be sure to read the instructions—there are time limits, etc. This thing can be really strong deep massaging so you don’t want to over-do it.The massaging knobs rotate and there are controls to make them go clockwise or counterclockwise - they’ll do that on their own or you can set them. The knobs will heat as well.Easy to use—you plug in the cord to the massager and then to an outlet, find a comfortable place to set, place the massager across your shoulders (if you are massaging your neck area), put your hands/arms in the things that fall in front of you, and turn it on. If you want to massage your back, you have to kind of position yourself, and that’s a little difficult—I almost lowered my stars by one for that but this thing is really amazing so I didn’t — I was able to position myself just fine after some trial and error.I tried it on my neck, my thoracic area of my back, my lower back, and at my periformis I’d injured. It is super powerful. In fact, I have to be careful as it can be a little strong on me, especially since I’m small and don’t have a lot of body fat—it will hurt if you don’t position it right for your height/body type. But, once you do position it correctly, it offers a very deep massage! I was pretty amazed.Afterwards, my spine did feel loosened up. I like to use it after a hard workout, if I can get it away from my guy—he needs to buy his own to take home *laugh*For me, this is a five-star product.
This is honestly the best massager I have ever used. Great for neck and shoulders. Feels like an actual massage! Intensity is adjusted by how much pressure you apply through the arm straps. I've had it several months and use it often. Shipping was quick also.
This product is a life saver! It actually feels like someone is giving you a massage. If you want a deeper massage just pull out on the straps and you’re set. I highly recommend this product and I will be placing future orders for my friends and family.
I bought this product for my nan, she was very pleased with it. It is very effective and a lot firmer than you would expect. Very versatile and easy to use, takes a while to warm up, we used it for about ten minutes and didn't notice any heat. Would highly recommend, great value for money!!
This massager is amazing! It is the next best thing to having a human give a good massage. The pressure is simply perfect and you can adjust the speed and whether or not to use heat. I cannot recommend this enough and it would make the perfect gift, too!
I have been using this massager for weeks and decided to leave a review on it because my hubby and I LOVE using it so much. At first, I purchased this massager because my shoulders and neck were sore from holding my newborn too much. I thought getting a massager for myself would be a good idea to relieve some , and I was so right. Purchasing this was the best decision of the month because it really helps me relax at the end of my day when baby finally gets into sleep at night. There are also three levels of strength which is suitable for people who cannot take strong massages like me. My hubby on the other hand turns it on the highest strength, and he loves that. He has a office job that requires him to sit and look at the monitor for long hours. I used to give him a massage on his shoulders and low back to relieve tension from long hour sitting, but I just can’t do it anymore since our baby has arrived. This massager does the job now. My hubby now uses it everyday regularly. Watching TV shows with a beer and chips on hands while having a massager on his shoulders is what his favorite personal time is now like.

this provides a deep massage and is easy to move as you need to...i have a regular shiatsu..bit this is great for in between...if you are looking for something very gentle this may not be for you ! but if you have a knotty neck/back...this is for you !
I was very skeptical of only 5-star reviews, especially after seeing others being paid off on Amazon for similar products. I ordered anyway. Overall this is a solid product that I'm happy with, but it's not perfect. Pros - feels great, not super bulky, hand rests allow great pressure adjustment, minor heat is a nice touch, faux leather is soft, good stitching, works all over my back, not too loud Cons - I can only feel the two biggest knobs as they rotate most of the time; the two medium ones can sometimes be felt, but the 4 smaller ones are useless. I wish the arm holds were longer - my hands sit just lower than my armpits instead of more comfortably at my waist. The buttons are up by my cheek, so not easy to adjust without moving the unit. I've had it about 2 weeks and it already squeaks sometimes, so I hope it won't break in less than a month.
