NARS Sculpting Multiple Duo in Hot Sand (Peach Champagne) and Laguna (Cult Classic Bronzer) - Limited Edition - Full Size - Unboxed

NARS cult favourite product, The Multiple, at either end of a twist up tube. It’s a fantastic, portable, space efficient and elegant highlighting and contouring product, which applies very smoothly. It is creamy, yet when applied it almost immediately takes on a non-emollient, powdery finish, which I appreciate as an oily-skinned gal as I feel less emollient products have much better longevity on my skin. It is also very easy to blend out and buff into the skin with a dome-shaped contouring brush. The amount of product you get is also really impressive to me – many brands use ‘duo’ products as an excuse to skimp on the amount of each product. However, in NARS case, each shade in the Sculpting Duos has the equivalent of the average full size blush or cheek product. For $39, I think these are quite a bargain, especially considering their highly portable size, which means you won’t need to leave these at home for the sake of conserving space when you’re packing for a trip! Hot Sand + Laguna will probably work for the broadest array of skintones, as it is deep enough to be useable for some of the darker skintones getting into the olive range, but isn’t so deep that it looks jarring on lighter toned skins, although if you’re super pale, then it might not work for you! Both shades performed equally well in terms of ease of application, blendability and lasting power. I had no trouble getting all day wear from these, and my makeup didn’t become susceptible to my natural oils more quickly than usual.
