I own 5 of these because they are the best. They rarely jam, are a good size, shoot quite far, and are a good price. They don't look as cool as the new modulus but they're functionally the same at a much lower price. Also, you can get upgraded motors and a lipo battery and make them shoot 100 feet per second. Makes them much more fun.
I think this is a good blaster for indoor use. We play with it in the house so it suits our purpose. Goes through 6 dart clip very quickly. It did jam once though.
I honestly wish I would have bought 2 of these when they came out on Black Friday because I have two boys and this is the best for the price! So, I tried a few other Nerf products which I purchased for my other son that loved his brother's. Well, after so much trouble and returns on the other Nerfs since they would jam up and ruin the darts I was happy to see that Walmart did still carry the item online. I was able to use the Store Pick Up method and my item was ready within a few hours. The best part is that it was at the same price. It is super easy to handle and no jam-ups is great! This Nerf is an automatic and for the price it is awesome!
Unlike the cheaper unmotorized guns, you just hold the triggers (yes two of them - one to start up the motor and the other to fire) and this baby will spit out 2-3 darts a second! You can probably fire faster with the cheaper Strongarm but cocking it every time means it is very inaccurate. This baby is already accurate and once I add the laser sight and extra barrel, it will be super accurate. The only problem is the 6 dart magazine. If you hold the trigger down, you will shoot through it in a matter of seconds. Buy bigger mags for this gun. Overall for the price I could not find a better gun. Not available at Walmart stores but it should be. Highly recommended!
These guns can go for a pricey price. However this is a great buy and great time to purchase this asap before they sell out. Buying two guns is a great buy to get two for the price of one. The gun look just as the picture shows it.So there is not looking great online and in person it's not the same. Gun is the same as picture! purchase fast I am sure with this brand these won't last long and Christmas is around the corner.
The stryfe is a awesome semi-auto blaster. It only jams occasionally and when it does it is very easy to unjam. Make sure you buy a 12 or 18 dart stick mag to go with it because the 6 dart mag is highly insignificant for a flywheel blaster. Another note is that if you dont let the trigger go to the forward position all the way before you pull it again it will sometimes jam. Overall it is a great base platform to start on. Especially when you remove locks and run it off 4 imrs. I will buy 2 more if they ever go back in stock.
This is a cute little blaster in a new orange color that resembles the Elite Demolisher's (release color). I have a ProChrono Digital chronograph with which I measured the velocity of the darts in FPS (feet per second) that this "flywheeler" spit out. At the peak of it's rev it produced a consistent average of 65 FPS out of the 6 darts in the magazine. This seems like a stable and compact blaster to carry around, and has places to attach a barrel, stock, and two tactical rails (1 under-barrel and 1 rear top mount for a scope or sight). For the mod community, this is an affordable blaster to mod, just buy three LiFePo4 and a dummy spacer battery to increase the FPS and DPS (darts per second). Just be sure to take out the irritating locks (mechanical and electrical locks need to be dealt with, especially re-wiring it to bypass the Thermistor if you plan on doing voltage mods or it will freeze up after reaching a certain temperature. I clocked this set-up with an average dart velocity of 91 FPS, but the real advantage is the amazing increase in the rate of fire (ROF, which spits darts out as fast as you can pull the trigger). For the gift-hunters looking for a fun gun at a low price: it can fit most other Nerf gun parts. Oh, and yes it shoots any color of standard Elite dart (blue, green, white, orange, and decorated Rebelle darts), and no it doesn't come with the required 4 AA batteries. In conclusion: best bang for your buck; Customization is what the Stryfe does better than most (except for the Modulus) so don't worry about how it looks. MAKE it look the way you want it to look.
Remove the "dart tooth"; look it up on YouTube. After that SIMPLE 5 minute mod, and probably the use of 18-shot mags ($10 on Amazon), this is literally the best nerf blaster out there. Rarely jams after that mod, good power, easy to fire singlehanded (dual wielding is possible)! Get this gun.
Good quality and easy to use
This model was my go-to gift for the boy children in my family ages 5-9. it is well-made and shoots far. it is easy to hold, not too bulky or over the top. the darts hardly get jammed. my only recommendation would be a larger capacity magazine to hold more darts. overall very good nerf gun!
