Our products got here faster then expected also works excellent in our area. My husband travels to SC for work and his reception picks up just fine. Recommend product because it has a family plan.
I purchased the Net10 micro sim as Straight Talk no longer offers an AT&T sim card. Since it was only $5/month more and I travel frequently to places where T-Mobile service is not available, I decided to give it a try. As the summary states, it was the best decision ever and I am SO happy that I did. My only complaint and the reason for the 4 star meets expectation rating is that Net10 does not allow TEXT MMS with iPhones, but that is their limitation and is in no way connected to WM. MMS does still work through iMessage though, so I can accept the text MMS limitation considering I now pay WAY LESS than half of what I was paying AT&T for the exact (almost) same service. If you are tired of crazy high smartphone contract prices and aren't a "data hog".... BUY IT NOW!
I really enjoy the service , and it's afforable. No longer have the expensive iPhone starting plan high cost bill or expensive data and texting fees. This is one flat rate and month to month Not locked in like normal companies that lock in for two years. Love it , thanks
After activation and getting net10 settings put in the phone, everything works great.
Installed this on a Google Nexus 4. Works great. $45 unlimited EVERYTHING on ATT's Network. My google voice settings show that the phone number provided to me by Net10 is an ATT number.
I bought an excellent phone, but it will only work with T-mobile or AT&T. Where I live, T-Mobile had no signal at all, and AT&T has one or two bars, which seems to work okay. The order through Walmart was great, and it arrived a day sonnet than they promised. I had it sent to the store, where I picked it up. I had to wait all of a minute or so, and was out the door in about five minutes. That's the way to shop. The only better way would be to have it shipped to my house, but that would have taken a few days longer, and I was anxious.
I had some problems starting the service. I activated my Net10 card online via their online website. I didn't get service right away. This is unlike using my AT&T GoPhone which activated right away within a minute. Anyway, I didn't touch my Net10 phone until three days later. By then it was activated and worked well. I used my Net10 phone in Los Angeles, Phoenix and somewhere inbetween these two cities, and service was good. I will recommend this product. Just don't expect to get service right away.
I purchased this service for two reasons - better reception and lower cost. I was told that my phone would have better reception with this service than I was getting with AT&T at my home. That is not true. However, the cost is much less and that is a plus.
Before you purchase, please go check Net10 Facebook page. There you will see that the data is capped at 1.5 gb but that's only if you can get it to work. Ive tried everything and neither myself or their tech support can get this product to work. They told me that they, on Facebook, that they stopped selling AT&T products? Huh? I urge you to check other options. We ended up with T-mobile 100 min/unlimited text/data for $30. Again, check their Facebook.
net10 is not a good service company if you are importing your own cell phone number.got the card on thursday.was told two too 48 hours for my number to start working.monday had no service.after several calls, and stay on hold.got service on tuesday.still no data or mms mesg working yet.week later and more calls, waiting for data service.
