I have been using the Anti-Residue Shampoo for over 30 years and still have my hair. I have not gone bald. The shampoo has kept my hair viable and clean.
This is a great Clarifying shampoo. I stopped using it when I started to color my hair, that's how well it works!! It's not drying but you do get rid of a lot of impurities!!!!!! I used it every other wash. Great price and really works. If I decide to go natural again, this will be first on my list!!!!
I like this. Easy to rinse. Clean to the touch. I can go an extra day between washings, even though I tend to have oily hair. Such bounce and volume.
Absolutely wonderful Shampoo!!! I have had dry scalp for as long as I can remember and not one single shampoo on the market would help. They would leave my hair dry like straw and they made my dry itchy scalp even worse. So, I gave Neutrogena's The Anti-Residue Shampoo® a try...and Boy, oh boy what a difference it made! No more dry itchy scalp and my hair is oh so soft. One could not ask for more, it's a wonderful shampoo. Neutrogena's The Anti-Residue is the shampoo for me. So, if you have the same problem I had with dry scalp, give it a try, What would you lose, except that Dry Itchy Scalp. Thanks Neutrogena!!!!! Cheers! :O)
I love this shampoo so so much!!!! First of all, it has pleasant smell and so much lather. It completely removes residue, refreshes my scalp once a week. Sadly, I have no idea why it is not easy to find the shampoo on the shelves or it sometimes is overpriced.
I love this stuff - it is great at deep cleaning your hair! After I've used my regular shampoo & conditioner (and the curl gel that goes in after the shower) for several weeks, I use this 2 ties and my hair is squeeky clean and the shampoo, etc. works even better than before.
Excellent shampoo for removing styling product build up on your hair. I use once to twice a week.
We took a little trip to a mountain retreat center. The bathroom was stocked with several Neutrogena products. This shampoo captured my attention due to its fragrance, ease in pouring and clear shade. For the first time I realized Neutrogena was a brand men could use as well as women. I liked it so much that, when I returned home, I ordered two large bottles. The fact that there were no shipping charges at that time added to my belief I made a good buy. I'll likely order more.
The first two times my hair felt great...(2 weeks apart). Now I use it once a month, IF THAT. It's making my hair break off, it's stripping all the oil out, drying it and frizzing.. even when I use conditioner afterwards!! Every hair type is different. But this is insane, I'm losing my hair. I use a very small tiny amount. The smell is so potent I want to puke. Yuck! It's up to you.
The product is fine but the sticky tape they use to seal against spillage did not come off the product. It left a very sticky residue. I will not order toiletries again online.
