I've been using this facial bar since I was 20. I'm now 61 and still use it, original only. My daughter also uses it. I started using it after some facial breakout issues. I use it just about everyday and never want to be without it. Don't change it, don't discontinue it!!! It's the best for facial cleansing!!! Definitely worth more than 5 stars!
Gentle on Skin. The only bar soap I use on my dry skin. Wonderful scented or unscented. Highly Recommend!
Great product - used it for facial wash each morning; keeps pores clear/clean.
I still shave each morning with a soap filled brush and razor. Prior to applying the soap to my face with the brush, I wash my face with Neutrogena, which seems to soften my beard and better prepare my experience with the shave. I have used this system for a number of years, and have found that it works in excellent fashion.
Love this soap! Also love the original scent, it's so hard to find, the fragrance free is everywhere. But, I love the OG
Many, many years ago we checked into the luxurious Furnace Creek Inn in Death Valley. After a long, very hot day, a long, refreshing shower sounded wonderful. The soap dish had a transparent, amber bar with a very nice fragrance. The sudsy foam was excellent. The rinse left me very smooth and clean. As I walked from the shower, my wife said, "oh, you smell good". I asked the maid, what was that soap? I have used Neutrogena ever since; about 50 years. Thank you....
The Neurogena Original Amber Facial Cleansing Bar is the best all-around soap that I've used! Very gentle, with very refreshing fragrance. Only the Neutrogena Fragrance-Free Bar comes close.
None of the retailers in our area carry the original formula and we would rather not use the fragrance-free formula. Thank you for continuing to provide this on-line. Sorry to see the on-line direct sales program end.
This is a wonderful cleansing bar. The smell is soft and clean. Not heavy. It creates lots of bubbles. I love the way it leaves you skin soft but very clean.
This is a great facial bar, but it's got some limits. If you keep it on the bathroom counter in a soap dish, it's perfectly fine. But I wanted to be able to use it in the shower. Even on a soap dish/strainer, it dissolved after just a few days.
