i worked in direct sunlight for over 2 years, if it would not have been for this product my skin would have been damaged by the sun. Im 45 and people think im 38, they always ask me whats my secret, I tell them Neutrogena Spectrum. I always reccomend this product to my family and friends. Thanks Neutrogena
I started using this product when it first came out several years ago. I have lived in Arizona 45 of 50 years, and the melasma and sun damage were making me look older than my years. I also have adult acne, and sensitive, oily skin. I've been meaning to write sooner, but over the past several years I have watched a transformation occur as a result of using this product. The MATTE finish was what sold me at the beginning, and as Neutrogena came out with higher SPF versions of this product, I have purchased the highest number available. I now have such clear even skin tone I no longer use foundation on my face. I look younger than I am...and people ask me what I use. This is the first thing I tell them about.
We work outside and our skin was red and hurting all the time and now our skin doctor recommended and we are so happy with the results Thank you so muchfunny
I have very fair skin and live in a sunny climate, so sunblock is a must. Unfortunately, I also have sensitive skin and have searched for years for a sunblock that does not cause a reaction on my face. A few years ago, I started using Neutrogena's new line of sunblocks and have not had an issue with any of them. Plus they all offer broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection. They are truly fabulous, but this one is the BEST. Much like a previous reviewer, I tell everyone about this product. It is the most important thing (and unbelievably the least expensive thing), I put on my face.
I'm a high school student and I work outside alot and this product is amazing! Once I apply it, it stays on, especially when I sweat hard, it stays on. Truly amazing!
When I first bought this it made my skin look great it was better than a foundation but two months after using it I had went to Sea World in San Diego and the next day my skin started falling off I had no idea it what it was (I thought it was a symptom of eczema but the following week after my skin cleared up I tried it on again and in a couple of hours it turned into a rash, swell my face up with blisters filled with moist that would pop by itself and dry your skin out making you look really old. So if you have a sunscreen allergy I would not recommend any neutrogena sunscreens because they have all done it to my skin and even Aveeno does the only one I don't have a problem with is Coppertone sensitive faces SPF 50 and eucerin SPF 30, eucerin is also a great foundation that fixes your skin but it doesn't offer enough protection for my skin i ended up burning within less than 30 minutes from being outside in the winter sun. I hope neutrogena makes a sunscreen that offers protection like this one but for sensitive skin and allergy proned skin like mine.
I prefer Neutrogena's sun products over others. Many of them are listed on the Campaign for Safe Cosmetic's list of healthier sunscreen products. However, I can't tell if Spectrum works well or not - it barely will spray out of the can. It comes out in tiny spurts of product and mainly sprays air, unfortunately.
Unfortunately after using this product for a few days it broke me out. I used it on my arms and neck (waited 15-20 mins, before exposing myself to the sun) and my skin became very dry and itchy with huge rash on my arm. I personally will be trying another product for the body, one that says it wont cause breakouts.
i bought this and started using it following the instructions on the box...after a few days i noticed my face started swelling and my acne got worst...it made me break out a lot...i stopped using it and started using another product......if u really want to get rid off your acne...i reccomend u purchase neutrogena oil free acne wash cream cleanser,neutrogena on the spot acne treatment and cle..an ..and cl.ear morning glow moisturizer with spf 15....then go to google and type up "benzoyl peroxide how to make it work for you" click im feeling lucky..u will be redirected to a page where a regimen will be presented...follow this regimen and you will be well on your way to clean skinnn......
Bought this with high hopes that it would protect my skin from the harsh sun rays in New Zealand, Well Guess what not only did I tan which I was furious as i love my pale skin, I got a awful rash all over, never buying anything from Neutrogena again.
