I purchased this product for my teenage son's room. I looked at furniture stores for low end side tables but all were priced way higher than the RTA furniture so I decided to order this one. Good choice, the black and charcoal finish look nice with asian theme I decorated the room in. For pressed wood/laminate the quality is good. Assembly was easy. I also purchased the matching double dresser, they look good together.
This nightstand is awesome. The instructions are pretty poor. I was able to put this nightstand together mainly because of my technical background. You need a mechanical aptitude to help with the process. Otherwise, this is an nice looking piece. No complaints. Sturdy structure and great color constrast. Top shelf is made of wood and not metal like the pictures looks like.
I bought two ( 2 ) of these Stands to use in my Den for the two ( 2 ) Heavy Slot Machines that I have. I have one on each side of my Computer Desk. They are VERY STURDY plus they give me plenty of storage space for my CD's and other things that I use for my Computer. Also the assembly instructions are VERY CLEAR. Should I ever buy anymore Slot Machines I will surely buy another one of these stands for it.
I got this nighstand on wednesday, and i love it. it has a cd rack, so i can put all my favorite cds on it. Plenty of space on top, for a lamp and anything else. plus a spacy drawer and an open area for anything extra you want. perfect height, too for a standard size bed.
i put this and the dresser together when me and my hubby moved in together we have a been useing it as a stand for our printer/fax/coper it works great i matches perficty with the outher peaces and has like a sivery top my son has climbed on it and has been moved around many times its sturdy and alsome love it
I bought this nighstand for christmas and at first it was a little difficult to put together but in the end it was worth the work. I currently use it to hold my mini fridge but it is a great piece of furniture.
Hey - no one has ever accused me of being very bright...but I have to say....this was not bad at all...actually, my 10 y/o son (it's for him) and I were starting on it when I got called away...when I returned to help him, 45 mins later, he said "Ok - I am on step 11 of 20...and what I need YOU to do is...blah blah blah". So you really DON'T need an engineering degree...The cd rack is a bit flimsy - but it looks really good when put together...the drawer slides are plastic and the ONLY hitch was you have GOT to pound them in FLUSH...or the drawer won't fit...other than that, all pieces fit snugly and are solid...and it looks REALLY good! (ok - it will look better once the room is done!)
Great piece for the price paid – just wish there was a version without the CD rack. Easy assembly, highly functional. I didn't install the CD part, so I could store tall, awkward books in the slot. Provides a lot of storage. Actually started with just the dresser and liked it so much that I bought the matching nightstand and chest.
We bought this night stand for our eight year old son's bedroom. It is large and roomy with compartments for everything. It was a little tricky to assemble, but by taking the directions a step at a time, my husband and son built it in about an hour and a half. This is not a top of the line piece of furniture by any means... it is pressed board and lots of screws and plastic covers. BUT, for the price is a great little accessory piece. Perfect for a casual bedroom.
This item along with the dresser were purchased with the understanding the cost was very affordable. The dresser was a nightmare (see review if needed), the nightstand having only one drawer for items not needed every day did not strip from bracing. However we only used this product for 1 week before returning it. It looked great in the bedroom we put it in but since the railing system is made of PLASTIC--it was only a matter of a few pulls away from being a faceless hole. Meaning the metal screws strip through the particle board used in the sides of the drawers with attempts to open(b/c plastic on plastic does not glide or roll). Very unfortunate since eventually what you put in a drawer must come out.
