Solid I don't feel like i'm going to injure myself when I use it. I have a friend who owns a small pub and grill she borrowed and is going to get one for the pub.

I've had the Ninja since November 2011. It is wonderful! I use it mainly to make smoothies with frozen fruits and protein powder. It has a lot of power and I am able to make my smoothies in a short amount of time. The pitcher is good-sized and the splash guard is a great feature. The blade section twists off easily which makes cleanup quick and easy.

I have this and love it! It is well rated - wonder why it is no longer available to purchase anywhere? Oh well, that's what seems to happen with things you really like...

I've used 2 other brands that my friends have and decided to purchase one of my own. Lots of research led me to this brand: The Ninja Warrior. Lame name, but don't let that fool ya. This is the most powerful (and heaviest) I've used. Stainless immersion section is thick, heavy, and top quality. Body is thick plastic and solid. It'd be too heavy to use if all steel. Nonetheless, this thing is really a beast! Three blades will completely pulverize anything you put this to. Crushes ice like a professional - smoothies come out like you're at a 5-star resort. The strength is unbelievable. I made broccoli soup and used this for the first time - I accidentally "over-did-it" and made puree in a few seconds. I pushed the button and it created such a force that it pulled itself down to the bottom of the pot immediately! I highly recommend only pressing the button in very short spurts when doing soups. The mixing pitcher with the splash-proof top is fabulous! Both tops are made of silicone and will last forever; very pliable. The food processor container is great with two levels of blades that slice through everything with ease. Highly recommend this product to everyone looking for a superb Immersion Blender. If Ninja comes out with a new model, I won't hesitate to get it!

I bought the Ninja to replace my beloved Braun stick blender with its whisk and chopper attachments. Braun no longer makes a version that will run on US current. I was stunned when I pulled the Ninja out of the box. It was so much bigger and heavier than my Braun that I almost sent it back -- but then I used it, and I'm sold. It's easy to use, easy to clean, and will probably replace my blender and food processor since it will do everything I use those appliances for. I'm glad I made the purchase.

Powerful enough to turn ice cubes into snow

I bought this to make smoothies and hoped I'd be able to use it with frozen berries. I had been using an expensive heavy space-intensive KitchenAid blender, but the smoothie ingredients always got gummed up on the bottom near the blades. Not so with this beast tool! The triple blades on it are able to reduce my huge ice cubes into snow, and to properly liquify any and all smoothie ingredients I throw at it. I use the turbo button most of the time. Because it is a stick style, you can move it up and down inside the mixing container, but it doesn't cause that vaccuum centrifuge kind of action that would otherwise make things spill all over, the way standard stick blenders do. The silicon base keeps the blender jug firmly in place and the star-shaped serrated top lets you easily add other things while also keeping all ingredients inside the jug. Because they are silicone, I imagine they'd work well on soups and hot liquids too (i.e. tomato sauce). The stick blender easily comes apart to wash with a quick rinse, or to put in the dishwasher. I haven't used the food processor unit yet, but I would expect it will work just as good. All the pieces store easily and are lightweight, a nice change from my stand blender. This has been a surprisingly wonderful kitchen purchase, so much so I'm considering buying a few for friends/family. Will make monthly margarita movie nights so much easier and faster!!

At $50.00 I couldn't ask for a better stick blender. I checked them all out and for the money this is the best. It out works my full size blender...

Great for soups

I did a lot of research before purchasing this blender. This blender has 3 blades and all of the other ones I checked out that were more expensive only had one or two blades. I make cream soups all the time and use this blender and it is so much easier than having to dip the soup out of the pan into a regular blender. l used my Ninja at Thanksgiving to chop up the real pumpkin I had baked to make pies and it made the filling as smooth as the canned pumpkin. I just put the top part in the dishwasher for cleanup. The blender is heavy duty, so you don't have to worry that it won't be sturdy enough to do the job. I recommend this blender, it is worth the price.

This may be more expensive than the other immersion blenders but it works great. I opted for this particular blender because of the ice crushing feature and the fact that it's stainless steel. I had an immersion blender 10 years ago and it was great for blending liquids but nothing with any thickness, esp ice. I wanted something to make smoothies at work. Our kitchen is separated from the work space otherwise it would be too loud for the office. Fortunately it blends quickly so it's not on for too long. This blender has 330 watts which is the most powerful that I've seen. I wish it came with a case but I'm happy with my decision.
