Very good, simple, very bright light. You will be seen when the light is on high mode or flashing no doubt, but that is contingent upon those drivers and walkers actually paying attention =D My only critical review is that there needs to be a third option for the steady light mode. I would like a middle option to the ultra bright and dim steady mode. Thanks!
I purchased this light over a month ago and have used it for more than 500 km of night rides, mostly on roads and gravel rail trails. The brightest setting provides enough light to ride confidently at higher speeds. The lower setting is great when oncoming riders or pedestrians are approaching. Battery life is good for my purposes. If needed I can switch to the lower setting around the 2 hour mark to make sure I have some light for the end of my ride. The bar mount is sturdy and doesn't allow the light to shift over rougher terrain. I had a minor issue that Nite Ize dealt with very promptly and to my satisfaction.
I've owned a great number of bicycle lighting options over the past 40 years, some ineffective and some very effective, for commuting, bikepacking and predawn training. I was not unhappy with my previous lighting system but as a long time NiteIze product user and gear junkie I purchased the Radiant 750 Rechargeable when it became available. I'm of the “two is one, one is none” ilk, especially when bikepacking...often traveling with two headlights and taillights. Weight is minimal while safety is maximized. Alongside a popular brand 650, the Radiant 750 appears nearly twice as bright. Not as robust a case as the competitor, but holds a charge equally as long. However, in further comparison, the Radiant 750 takes half the time to recharge. That's huge when using powerbanks or solar panels when bikepacking. I realize most lighting companies refer to the strobe as a “daytime strobe,” likely for liability reasons...but when road riding in SWFL, I utilize the strobe at all hours for my protection. My purpose is not to irritate or aggravate oncoming or crossing traffic, but for self-preservation...though the Radiant 750 strobe function fulfills all three. I attempted the helmet mount a few times but felt the length and weight tended to not be my personal preference'...others may enjoy it. Overall, I really like the NiteIze Radiant 750 Rechargeable Bine Light and recommend it confidently.
I ride in Redlands which is kind of a bicycle mecca in So Cal. Many nights I wait for rush hour traffic to die down so having a good light is important to me. I've used two other brands of lights that promised to be long lasting and both units are even less lumens than my Radiant 750. The R750 is both more powerful, and longer lasting. I also like the pattern it puts out. I never have to worry about being seen, and the way this thing lights up the road is perfect for me. No more worrying about getting home at the end of my rides anymore. Thank you Niteize!
This light is so bright it makes night riding on gravel and single track possible. I was worried about riding my mountain bike at night but this light really lights the way. Thank you Nite Ize!
This light is bright and excellent for visibility. It's long and slightly heavy, but the length works to an advantage on my road bike as it lifts forward beyond my hands and bars. When I switch it to my gravel bike I hang it upside down, again the length helps project beyond the bars.
I use this light on my road bike to commute to work everyday and I absolutely love it. It is super easy to attach to the handlebars, easy to detach, and is super bright. I use the brightest setting and it illuminates the road/dark bike path extremely well. I feel so confident and safe riding home in the dark after work thanks to this light. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a high quality, well made bike light. I also love that it is rechargeable. I got the Radiant 125 for the rear light and I highly recommend this light as well. Thank you Nite Ize for making such outstanding products so I can continue to ride my bike as the days get darker earlier. Happy night biking everyone! I spent a lot of time researching to find the best bike light, and I'm confident I made the right choice with this one.
Used for first time. Really bright on high. Would be nice if it had a medium brightness setting as well as additional strobe setting. Seems like a really good light. Look forward to daily evening/night time rides.
Very bright. The perfect dark trail light when mounted on helmet. Put it on flash mode and you can see roadsigns flashing very very far away. I use it everyday on my commute, I am very satisfied. Only drawback is my handlebar mount strap. I Returned home in a snowstorm and removed the light to take inside, but the strap mechanism must have fell off in my backyard and is now buried in snow. A more secure handlebar mount would seal the deal for a perfect rating.
