I enjoy this product's scent -- the cinnamon and lemongrass is pleasing. However, the ingredients in this formula is the exact same as the one for dogs. I bought this for my couch but was hoping to use the spray to deter my cats from my dog's new bed. But since it's the same formula, it will likely deter my dog from enjoying his bed, which seems to go against the "Just for Cats" claim on the label. Also, my cats still love my couch very much.
This product is for use on upholstery - to deter cats from scratching and shredding. It doesn't work for even one day. If I apply it in the morning, the cat is scratching on that chair by that same afternoon. I clip his nails, and have more than one scratching post. This product is absolutely useless. I wish this were not the case, because I don't like to waste money, and I value my furniture.
DOESN'T WORK!!!!! I PAID ALMOST $9.00 FOR A BOTTLE OF CAT REPELLENT SPRAY THINKING IT WOULD WORK!?! I SOAKED THE AREA ATLEAST TWICE A DAY AND THE CAT STILL CONTINUED TO GO BACK AS IT DID BEFORE I BOUGHT THE SPRAY!!!! VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!! USELESS....SAVE YOUR MONEY & SPRAY WATER IF IT MAKES YOU FEEL BETTER!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(
My cat had been chewing on my expensive silk floral arrangements. I purchased this spray at PetSmart and both of my cats are ATTRACTED to it. In fact, even my cat that was uninterested in my arrangements is now licking and chewing on the sprayed arrangements. I do not recommend this product at all.
I feel like I opened the window and threw out $10. Actually, I wish I had as then I would not have wasted 10 minutes of my life furiously spraying carpets in the hopes that this product would, oh I don't know...work. At all. Not only did this product not work, once the carpet dried, I found my cat rolling all over it, purring in delight. Even worse I got a really nice "I told you so" from my husband. Is it possible that there was a terrible mislabeling incident at the nature's miracle factory and I have purchased cat pheromone instead of pet block? Ten dollars? Really, Nature's Miracle? Considering that not ONE person reviewing this product found it the least bit useful I can't help but think that your company must have known that it was a dud but released it anyway. The only way that I can see this product repelling cats is if you sprayed it on a pit bull.
Even after reading many negative reviews on this product, I was still optomistic and at my wits end as to what to do about my cat soiling a certain spot in the house. However, after following the instructions of this product to the letter, I may as well have been spraying nothing but water there, as the cat not only keeps going back, but it seems to almost attract her to that same place...:( My own fault...I should have saved my 8.99 and used my homemade remedy of cayenne pepper, which actually WORKS!
I am highly disappointed with this product. My dog sleeps in a crate with no top on it, I have a comforter in it. One of my cats is picky about potty time and would do his buisness on his comforter. So I completely washed it in the washer twice to be sure any odor was not left behind, dried it and put it in his crate......... It was totally soaked with this product, it dried in good and I no more than walked away when the cat went in there, after sniffing it and did his buisness . Sure was not something I would recommend and did not want to spend my money on it.
I bought this product thinking that it would keep my dogs off the couch. To find out that no longer then 5 minutes after I sprayed it on the couch, one of my dogs was over there licking the areas where I sprayed it, and the other one was laying on the spots.
I wish I had read the reviews before spending almost $9.00 for this product. I followed the directions exactly.....it didn't help a bit! My cats continued to soil on the area that I was treating.....often right after I sprayed the product on the area. I really think I should get my money back....this product doesn't do anything that it claims to do!
I have never been so dissatisfied with a product in my life. I never write reviews but I felt overly compelled to review this product. Not only does it NOT work but it will actually ATTRACT cats to the area you are trying to keep them away from. In fact, I sprayed this in a non problem area and all 7 came running as if they put cat nip in this spray!! I couldn't believe my eyes! I had to have my mom come over and see for herself. My cats are addicted to this spray. I hesitated buying it and I really regret it now. Biggest waste of $12 I ever spent. Don't buy this product unless you are trying to accomplish the exact opposite of what it's for.
