I bought my 12 year old daughter this shirt in black. She is just starting to wear junior sizes. She can still wear a kid size 16/18 in tops, so I bought her the medium in this top, and it was a good fit. It was a little loose, so we paired it with a spaghetti-strap tank top underneath and it was very cute and stylish with the tank showing through on the the back with the bows. Nice quality shirt. The tank she wore underneath was the Max Rave - Juniors Shelf-Bra Tank (2 pack in black & white) that we also bought online to wear underneath this shirt and it was a great purchase and great compliment to this top.
