yeah it a hoodie and i like it. this little number is a guy thing but it fit me good as i was in virginia riding it kept me warm and the early winds was a breeze coming home , but i was warm and looking good for a low price.
I expected it to be heavier. Very lite
My sons and daughter were thrilled with these hoodies--until they tried to keep warm wearing them. They are fine for a light chill, but for serious cold, better layer up or pick something else out of the closet. They ARE very soft and comfortable (I ordered a Twin Griffin one for me, too--my daughter's soccer team is 'The Griffins'), and the value is decent for the price (especially considering the outrages you see at the mall!) If you need a truly larger size, however, you may be in for a surprise. My sons typically wear medium and I got them XL--the only size available in the style they wanted when I ordered--and they are only slightly big.
The material is essentially a thicker t-shirt cotton. This was not made to be warm... but more for style. This should be advertised as a zip-up, hooded, long sleeve shirt. When it was referred to as a 'hoodie' I assumed it was for colder weather. It's not bad... just not what I was expecting.
