Not only are these “interlocking foam pieces” sturdy, but they are also thick and super~cushiony~perfect for workshop flooring when assembling delicate “Do~it~yourself” jobs. The concrete floor of my husband's workshop~tends to get messy and dirty, but these great interlocking pieces provide a nice cushioned place for working on “Special jobs,” then when he's done, he can pick them up and store them to keep them clean. WE LOVE THESE!!!!!!
Seems like it will hold up well to my boys laying with their toys on it. The interlocking portion seems just a tad loose in places, but it hasn't come apart at all and they've been playing on it for a week now. The border makes a huge difference over the mats that don't come with one because it makes it look like it's a “finished product” and it just looks nicer. It's soft to sit and walk on and I think it will hold up to the abuse my kids are going to give it.
These are so neat! You can use them for so many things. Need a soft place to stand? Kids need a play mat? Husband wants a cool design on his floor that he can sit on in his man cave while playing his video games? These stick together easily and you can use them for so many things. The colors are pretty cool! Easy to install.
This product is very easy to use. I like how you have a choice of red or black being shown. My kids chose the red side and we are using them on the floor by their toys - makes it more comfortable to sit on than the hard floor. They are squishy and make sitting or standing on them very comfortable. I like the pieces you can attach to the ends to cover up the connector areas, helps protect them and makes it look more complete. I have no complaints about this product and could see purchasing another set to add on to this one to make it cover an even larger area.
I wish I had gotten more of these. They are big and durable, they interlock like puzzle pieces. They have edges that can be taken off for a smooth edge or puzzle piece edge. The colors are very good and when I lay them down, all the dog and people hair on the rug doesn't stick to it all over. I've had that problem before and it makes me not want to even put them down. But these are all around great.
My kids are having more fun with these interlocking pieces, they use it for tumbling and jumping but even better they have use a them to build forts and houses, corrals and clubhouses. They have had so much fun I had to order more!
These are easy to assemble. My kids were able to do it. Since it is multi-colored it can be laid out as checkerboard pattern or in a single color. We put it in our basement. It's thick and nice to play on. 6 pieces are not big enough for any large space. I think maybe the pack should have had some more pieces to cover more area. It also doesn't have any kind of grip but with 6 of them interlocked it doesn't move much. It is not completely smooth, it has a very light pattern on it.
These foam mats are nice and soft! They are soft, but they are still quite sturdy! I like them! Unfortunately, they seem like they would be the same size as another kind we have, they are just a tad bit too small and the interlocking parts do not fit what we already had for another area. However, with all that said. They work great at a 6 piece set by themselves. We are keeping them because they are great to put down and use as a Lego area for my kids. Keeps the Legos from getting lost in the carpet. I like that they are reversible. The red is fun, but the grey is easier to spot Legos for us. For those needing more specific measurements than 24 square feet. Each square (inner portion) is 23.25” x 23.25”. Going to the edge of each square, including the interlocking parts, they are 24” across. There are about 9 interlocking lips per side and each lip is 1”. I have the hardest time finding this on interlocking mats! They only offer square feet! The mats are different from each brand!!! Anyway, these seem like they will stand up to our Lego use! We like them! Either get multiple sets if you want a large area or make sure they fit your other sets before purchasing!
This Norsk 24 sq ft Interlocking Foam Floor Mat, 6-Pack, Reversible Black/Red is very good quality. It is thick and covers 24 square feet. I found it very comfortable to lay on and i like the fact that you can use Red or Black side. I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a good workout mat/floor.
Got this to help the kids while playing on the floor in the basement. This will help provide some insulation on our floor as there is no carpet there, just hardwood.
