These tiles are thick and they connect well with each other. They were comfortable to walk on and will give the kids some protection from the concrete floor. I like them.
The Norsk NSMPRD6BLK Raised Diamond Pattern PVC Floor Tiles can be a great addition to many different locations including garages, workshops, basements, fitness rooms. We are using ours in our basement gym under a heavy piece of equipment to protect the floor underneath. One box of tile will cover approximately 14 sq. ft. These PVC floor tiles offer a lot more protection than the typical foam tiles I was using in the gym. The tiles assemble easily, they are very sturdy/durable and easy to clean. The basement has a lot of moisture and sometimes water gets into the basement but these tiles have an air-dry design technology that allows air to easily flow underneath letting moisture escape easily. I will definitely be purchasing more of these tiles! Also wanted to add that these tiles stay the bright black color they are when you take them out of package. They do not fade/discolor like the foam floor tiles do.
I just got these panels and put them together to place in my garage. They were simple to connect and took only about 5 minutes... These panels lock together my connecting the tabs. It was so easy and looks great in my garage
I had one box of these tiles and used them to put under my granddaughters picnic table to keep it level, not only does it do a good job at making the area level but if food drops on it you just spray it off with the hose. We liked it so much we are buying more of these tiles to put under the kids outside play house for flooring. No mud, no bugs and cleans easily with the hose. Im sure there are many more uses for these tiles but using them outside for us makes more sense. They are so easy to snap together and they hold tight and are a good heavy weight, perfect for outdoor use.
I really love these. Our porch was slick when it rained but rugs just kept getting nasty. This both looks good and keeps us from falling and it's the perfect size. I love the look some say it's weird but I'm weird so it's fine lol. It would be perfect for a garage or play room its super comfortable. Easy to put together.
Hello review readers if your reading this review trying to make a decision on purchasing this product BUY IT!!!!! I chose this product to make my punching bag just a little more sturdy and to my surprise it exceeded my expectations. With very little work the piece snapped right into place and not only did it serve its purpose of making my punching bag sturdy it also provided a nice clean look as well. This product feels durable and with the ease of use and quality that was provided with this floor tile I will definitely recommend purchasing this product to family and friends.
I expected pliable easy to use squares- they aren't that easy to use or that pliable. But that being said durable - holding up to dogs and cage movement on my hardwoods— I Jist wish I had gotten 2 not just one even though it done the area correctly having some spares would have been smarter for me—- that being said it does it's job easy to clean holds up to dogs(should be great for any garage floor)
Very durable and heavy flooring tiles. This Norsk PVC flooring has a ton of uses! And it's super easy to keep clean. I plan on using mine as a floor mat for the back of my vehicle because I have 3 dogs and I don't want the carpet messed up. I have kept it inside my house for the past week to let my dogs get used to it and they love laying on it. They love the coolness of it and the texture of the raised diamond pattern. This can also be used for exercise equipment and in the garage. And lots more places! The tiles snap together very tightly so you may have to use a rubber mallet to get them to completely lock together. This floor although very tough and durable is also quite flexible and can be cut with a carpet knife to fit the space you need. If you are in the market for a multi use floor give this a try! Each box does a little over 13 square feet.
I did a lot of research on the various choices for garage flooring. I considered solid PVC rolls. Although the least expensive, these rolls are very heavy, trimming could be tricky, and water cannot escape from underneath. Also considered the rigid polypropylene plastic tiles. I didn't like the 1/2" thickness, they tend to noisy when walking on and can be difficult to disconnect. These Norsk flexible PVC tiles seemed to be the best choice for me. I liked that they were 18" square as opposed to the 12" polypropylene tiles. They will allow water to drain out, although they are not designed to handle large amounts of water. They fit together easily forming a nice tight fit. Each of the tiles four edges are identical making for much less waste when trimming edges. They cut easily with a good sharp carpenters knife and metal square or straightedge. The raised diamond pattern tile is unique from the other Norsk tiles in that it has a shiny durable finish so the tiles do not mark easily and debris does not stick to them. Spills are easy to wipe up. The tiles fit together tightly and are flexible enough so that turning a car wheel on them will not cause the tiles to pop apart. I've had these tiles installed in my two car garage for about two months now and there are a few things that are worth noting. First, although the graphite color looks nice and does not show any marks, it is difficult to see dark objects like bugs! I could have gone with the lighter gray color but it was considerable more expensive when I was ready to order. Second, the unique raised diamond finish is very busy and is somewhat uncomfortable to walk on with bare feet. So wear shoes! Finally, and most important, is that the temperature of my garage is apparently affected by these tiles. I live in Orlando, FL where daytime temperatures are in the 90s for a good part of the year. Although an attached garage with a concrete floor will routinely get pretty hot during the hot part of the year, I've noticed that after installing these tiles, the garage is even hotter than without the tiles. I estimate three to five degrees hotter which makes a big difference if you need to be the garage longer than a few minutes.
I rarely give feedbacks on products but I felt compelled to do so because these tiles were simple too low quality. Walmart's delivery was fast and communications was great. I really can't blame them for the service but man the product was just cheap looking. My biggest gripe is the color. I ordered metallic graphite and I got metallic pewter. The box was marked correctly but the product inside was simply the wrong color. On top of that, the center of the tiles had a weird stamp mark or discoloration that made the floor look terrible. I also thought that it would be okay to use two separate colors, but when I interlocked the tiles together, the mushroom tooth connections looked tacky with the two colors showing together. Overall, I simply would not recommend this product to anyone.
