I am a weightlifter that gained an extra 25 lbs that I didn't need by eating poorly. I started the diet at 240 lbs and lost 8 lbs the first week. I thought the food tasted great (I'm not a picky eater). I was so impressed that I signed up with nurtisystem for the 28 day program. It's been going great. The biggest thing to get used to is portion control. I was amazed how I would eat the little packet of food for lunch, or dinner and wasn't hungry afterwards. I wanted a lot more food, but didn't need it. This was a real eye opener that I am still trying to get used to. You can also eat veggies in addition to help crave any hunger. This 5 day kit is the perfect way to see if this diet if for you. The food is really good and the portions are small. You really don't need more food. You will only want more food. I started at 240 lbs, and a little over two weeks later, I am at 227.
I have lost 6 pounds in 5 days! I can't believe that I don't feel hungry. The breakfast items are great tasting. Everything is small portions but I don't feel hungry at all. The lunch and diners aren't bad either. Snacks are yummy too. I finally found a weight loss program that works!
I'm very glad Walmart online has these in stock. I have three local Walmart stores within driving distance that, at the beginning of the year, had nice prominent displays of these Nutrisystem packs at the end of a row in their pharmacy sections. They usually had close to a dozen of these out and then they took the displays down and relegated the nurtisystem packs to a small space at the bottom of a back shelf which only holds one or two boxes - and then they never stock them. I had been wanting to try the Nutrisystem diet for a while but the cost of getting the packages direct from Nutrisystem was more than I was willing to pay. I was very pleased when I first found these at my local Walmart stores and for a couple of months I'd go back and pick up usually two boxes at a time, follow their diet Monday through Friday and eat sensibly on the weekends. I've lost enough weight to fit into a size smaller of blue jeans so far. The price as of this review for a box was around $45 and I usually order two boxes at a time so I got free shipping. The closest offer direct from Nutrisystem I could find was a 7 day pack for close to $80. I would highly recommend these 5 day packs to anyone.
I didn't believe this when I first heard about nutrisystem . I ordered 5 day loss weight and started it right away. I was loosing 1 pound a day , so I loss 5 pounds in a week. I'll stick with the program till I make my 20 pound goal.
I have lost 42 pounds in 6 weeks that last time I used Nutrisystem 5 years ago. After week one, I lost 7 pounds so will continue to use it for the next five weeks. Woo Hoooo
The quality of the food in the 5 day pack is excellent. The portion size quickly showed me why I had gained a few pounds. With this package you will be given a wake up lesson on portion size. So, basically you get great food in more normal sizes and you lose weight. I lost 5 lbs in the first week. The food is good and you eat 3 meals, deserts and snacks so I had no problem staying on this diet. Over time I adjusted to the portion sizes and got excellent results. One month I lost 15 lbs which is about what I needed to lose to get to a good weight. Now I am keeping a lot better eye on portion sizes. If one were going to go on Nutrisystem for a longer period a better option would be the 28 day plans. The bottom line is that this diet is very doable and works. Get ready for a lesson on portion size.
The 5 day plan is well worth the price. Everyone's loss will be different. One friend has lost 3 pounds and inches. I on the other hand have lost 8 pounds. I find the meals good to eat compared to other foods that are nasty. I am continuing my journey and getting excited for the first time in a long time.
Some of the food is good, some of it is kind of gross. If maybe there was more variety, which is available through Nutrisystem. It does work I lost 4 pounds in 2 weeks!
This helped me to not gain extra pounds after the Superbowl party when there were bags of chips and plates of brownies left over that I normally would not have been able to resist. I found that I did not have any cravings for extra food other than what was on the Nutrisystem plan. I work, so I prepped and measured the vegetables that I needed to add to my meals all in one day, so I could grab and go.
I found this kit while shopping one day and for the price, thought I would give it a try. I loved the first box so much that I have now purchased three others to give me a total of 20 days on the system. I lost a total of 2.2 pounds within the first five days and am happy with that.
