My 14 year old cat loves this food and acts like a kitten. I have been feeding her this food since I food it for her a couple of years ago. And she is looking young too. I found her in my old barn 13 years ago, very feral. Brought her in the house and when she finally decided all was good here we became buddies.
I tried this once when on sale and after a couple weeks saw a noticeable difference in my 16 yrs old kitty. She had more energy and spunk than she had ever had in the 6 yrs I've had her. Her long coat was softer and less susceptible to mats. No hairballs. I switched back to her old food after the nutro was gone because of price. She was not happy. Put her back on nutro senior again and she is a happy girl again. So worth the price. Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.
I have a twelve year old 20 lb. long semi long hair cat.. Before I had him on Nutro his fur looked like he needed brushing all the time and he was always hungry. Now his coat looks beautiful it's soft and shinny and he is satisfied with the amount of food that is suggested on the package for a cat his size.
I switched to this food last spring since my current senior cat food was discontinued. My cats, ages 11
It's a bit dry but I find that it is quite pallatable mixed in my cereal with milk or cream over it.
My cat loves Nitro food. Has been on it for two years. Nice shiny coat. He has been with me since he was eight and is now ten.
I adopted my 8 yo calico cat last year, her hair was unhealthy and dull looking. After 2 months on this food she looked like a new cat! Her hair was shiny, colors bolder, it even grew a little bit longer. Her attitude changed, shes a real love bug! Shes picky but love this food!
Im sure this food is good but i bought it to replace the Nutro call of the wild food that they discontinued. The kitty doesnt like it. So we r taking the bag to the rescue
Very very disappointed. Ingredients and protein level seemed good. But---the first time ever.....my cats absolutely will NOT touch this dry food AT ALL. So now I am stuck with this huge bag that they will not eat.
