Don't let the huge box scare you. This double door hidden screen is very easy to assemble and install. I had I'd up and working within 40 minutes. The instructions say it can be installed in 30 minutes. But I don't think they take in account the gathering of something to lay it down on, and getting the tools. You will need: A king size blanket to lay all the frame down on (this prevents scratching the frame). A drill for attaching the screen to your door frame and drilling 2 holes for the one side lock, and a level to ensure it's square. That's all! It comes with all of the hardware you'll need. Be prepared to ready the instructions carefully.

I have it for few month now, and so far works fine. I know that it is not designed to keep pets inside, but my cat cannot figure out how to get through.
Perfect screen door solution for French Doors. Looks great, works great. For those with pets, this keeps our cat inside without any issues. The setup took me a bit longer than 30 minutes installing it solo but it wasn't difficult.
It was perfect. We have a single one on our front door so we wanted the same quality door for our French back doors.
The product quality is impressive. I will buy another one in the future. The Walmart price was about 20% less than the big orange box store. Delivery was fast via FedEx. Installation was grueling as I had a non-standard outward opening French door setup where additional trim pieces and spacers were required. That is no reflection on the product. This is a great item you will enjoy long term!
Walmart price was the best by far, shipping and delivery were quick. I am a lousy handyman, but the installation was even simple for me. I spoke with Customer Service at ODL a couple of times and they were very helpful to ease my concerns about the installation process. One negative. One side of the screen door stopped working the day after it was installed. I called Customer Service and they walked me through the "fix". Had to remove the entire frame to fix the problem. One week later, the other side did the same thing. I had to remove the screen and repair it as well. Unfortunately, during the process, a small hole developed in the screen itself. I love the concept of this product and when it works it is fantastic. If it continues to work properly, I am ok with the early headaches, however, if it stops retracting again, it is going back to Walmart.
