Very basic metal bookends. Heavy quality metal. As tall as a tall textbook- about 11 in., so if you don't want that much of a statement on your desk, choose something lighter in weight

This description is very misleading. It gives the impression that you will receive 10 bookends. However, you will only receive 2 bookends that are 10 inches in size. Would not have paid $20 for 2 bookends. The reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 star is because they are heavy duty. The bookends will hold large heavy books, but 1 pair is not worth $20 in my opinion.
