THIS SPEAKER SOUNDS FANTASTIC. I USE IT TO LISTEN TO MY MP3 AT WORK. AT HOME I PLUG IT INTO MY LAPTOP WHEN I WATCH MOVIES. ALSO COMES WITH AN AC ADAPTER POWER CORD SO YOU CAN PLUG IT IN AND SAVE YOUR BATTERIES. FOR LESS THAN TWENTY DOLLARS YOU CAN'T GO WRONG.
impressive sound and loudness. when closed it looks like a box of makeup. i got this for my wife. she put it in her bathroom and loves it. i was looking for something that will not bring much attention to it when not being used (i didnt like any of the other clock/speaker type of ipod products out in the market) and this did the job perfectly. i tested this with ipod nano, iphone 3gs and iphone 4 and it works great (it does say that it's not optimized for iphone, but works great with it nevertheless). i put rechargeable 4 AA batteries in it so that i dont have to run wires around it - makes it very portable and neat looking. i'm buying a second one of these for my father in law now.
Just got this today, and so far I just love it. The design is excellent, so sleek and compact. Love the way it opens and closes. The sound is great for the size. I haven't used full volume. I'm scared that I will ruin it. But then again I really didn't need to raise it higher than half way to fill up a large room. I would definitely recommend this for anyone who wants an ipod dock. Very happy with my choice. Who knows I might buy another one.
I can use it for almost any purpose. I have plugged it into my netbook, listened to my mp3 player with the ac in my bedroom and by battery in my bathroom which is limited outlets while getting ready for work. Plenty loud enough for what I need. Not a high tech and booming speaker but good enough for me.
I read the reviews before buying and was still surprised at how good this little speaker. Some had mentioned that the mount for the iPod broke and it is a little iffy, but I suspect they didn't use the (included) base mounts for every iPod and MP3 made. If you want sound quality, look no further. This is great. If it's compact you want, this is it. It comes with a velvet drawstring purse that holds the unit, the DC cord, the iPod, and whatever else you need to take with you. Yesterday I took it to our art gallery, put it on the floor under a desk, and it filled the space with sound easily without getting in the way. Great design, great package, great performance, great price. What else could you want?
Love this little speaker so much, that I'm going to buy several this year as gifts! It can be used easily with any ipod, or computer. I plug my blackberry in while Im getting ready in the morning and listen to my Pandora application. It fits neatly in the corner of my bathroom counter top and provides great sound for the price! A must buy!
I just got this speaker for my birthday. Its really rad. Great sound, sounds like it has a base built in, so its a 360 speaker has a lot of power. I like how its portable but it looks sleek so I can use it as my main ipod speaker too. I like the design alot. Great product.
This IPOD speaker is amazing. I read the reviews for this product before purchasing and don't regret it. I am toying with the idea of getting one more because I am transporting it between work and home right now. The sound quality is great and for the price who could complain? Some of the reviews noted that the connector for the IPOD broke. I have not had any problems with it but am also using the correct docking mount. It comes with a variety of different mounts to accomdate which IPOD you have. Love this speaker!!!
I purchase it for my granddaughter and for use when we have family picnics and things of this nature, we where surprised at how good it works. The volume of it is really nice. Everyone wanted to know at the family reunion where I purchased from. What my granddaughter love besides the sound is that it also charges her ipod.
It is not charging my iPod Touch. It started out charging it the first time, now it won't. I tried again several times, then it finally charged, but with a constant interrupting error message on my iPod saying it was not an accepted charging device. Then, when I played music, it stopped charging and continued the error messages. I'm extremely frustrated because it says it works with any docking iPod, and I bought it just for my work desk to use all day while charging. Now I have to buy another type for work. However, the speakers work well, and it does fill the room easily with clear sound. It does come with USB cord so between option for USB, battery, or AC/DC, it's compact size and nifty design, nice sound, it's very practical. Therefore, I would recommend it, but only if you're not concerned about charging, or maybe if you have something besides an iPod Touch that it will charge. It also does work very well with my Creative Zen MP3.
