Why is it when a company comes out with a great product, they stop making it?!!! I am allergic to most fragrances and they irritate my sinuses. It was nice to find a lotion that was fragrance free and actually moisturized my skin. I am very disappointed.
As a committed Quench body lotion user, I am upset to find it disappearing from the shelves at my favorite stores. To read on this site that it has been replaced is disheartening. This was a GREAT lotion and the new one is not the same......it certainly doesn't smell the same! I used the green tea & vitamin complex in the original product, and the scent was light and pleasant, in fact I was frequently told that I smelled nice. At least give us some option on scent. I am very influenced by the smell of lotions and will not wear one if I don't really like the smell. I don't want to smell perfumed! Bring back the old Quench! Why mess with a great product? I give the old Quench 5 stars....this one gets 3.
I HAVE USED THIS LOTION FOR MANY YEARS. TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED THAT SCENT/SMELL HAS CHANGED. DIDN'T THINK THAT CHANGING THE CAP COLOR MEANT CHANGE TO FRAGRENCE! THE SCENT IS WAY TOO STRONG AND OVER POWERING. PLAN ON RETURNING TO RETAILER, PLEASE BRING BACK THE PREVIOUS SCENT.
Please, for the love of all things righteous, bring back the old formula ASAP! I hate the smell of the new formulas... I thought that only the bottle had changed when I picked up a new bottle last week, however, I was sadly mistaken. The lotion moisturizes okay, I suppose. And I really enjoy still having the option to get the shimmer version but the smell is horrid. I absolutely LOVED the smell of the old formula... and I actually liked the bottle better too, but I'm biased because purple is my favorite color. But anyway, at the very least, bring the old fragrance back...
I have been using this lotion for at least 8 years. I use it everyday, all throughout the day. I can't tell you how much money I have altogether spent on this one product alone. And now it stinks. It literally smells. It also feels thinner. This was the only lotion that ever worked for me and now I'm going to have to go find a new one. I'm so disappointed.
I've used this lotion as long as I can remember because I loved how light and fresh it smelled. The new scent is completely awful. From the looks of it, most people seem to agree. I dont know why you would try to change it to "match" another product. If I wanted that scent, I would have bought that scent. Please change it back!!!
I have used this lotion for years and it has been perfect. I opened a new bottle today to find that you have altered the scent just as you did with the Quench bar soap (which I no longer use, thank you very much). The new scent is horrendous! It is too strong and overwhelming. I don't understand why you keep doing this. I know you received a lot of negative feedback when you changed the bar soap so why would you change the lotion? Thanks to this change Olay will no longer be found in my home.
I agree with other reviewers, just picked up a new bottle tonight because I was out and the new formula is AWFUL! The scent is making me nauseous! The lotion seems thinner as well but not sure...the scent is the worst! I have a full bottle that I wasted money on now it's going straight in the trash! It honestly smells like I lathered up in fruity children's shampoo! Way to ruin a good product olay! I don't know of any grown woman who would want to smell like this!
How can you sit there and say that you have not changed the product when myself and all these other people know that you did?? We are aware of the product we've used for years and I find it insulting that you're trying to claim otherwise!!! It smells HORRIBLE! I returned my bottle and will not purchase again unless the old scent returns!
After months of searching for my beloved Quench I have finally found my way to this website. Very disheartened to say the least to find that my favorite lotion of all time has been discontinued. Even more disheartening is the fact that despite the numerous complaints and clear dissatisfaction of your customers....Olay is doing nothing to bring back the original product. I was a loyal customer for years but will now be returning the 3 bottles of body wash I just bought. No reason to keep them since I am unable to layer my scents as before. I will never understand why so many cosmetic companies make changes to perfectly good products, especially since the changes are never for the better. Why can't you just leave well enough alone. It took me years to find Quench and I was so happy when I did. Very disappointed that I have to begin a new search. On another note, it is also very wrong that I need to rate a product with at least one star in order to post a review. Clearly the purpose of rating a product is so other customers know our opinion of it. This is very mis-leading and also shows how little Olay respects it's customers. The new product deserves a big fat 0.
