I absolutely LOVE this lotion and I've used this lotion for over 15 years!! It's the ONLY lotion I use. And now I've searched high and low and I guess it's been discontinued. Why??? If you are rebranding with the new lotions, why not add this to the rebrand instead of eliminating such an amazing product? I'm not going to use ANY of your new lotions. Please bring this back.
I have never had a lotion that worked as well as this one did. I was so soft, I smelled amazing, AND the shimmer was the cherry on top!! please please please i'm begging you. my life hasn't been the same. i would've stocked up if i knew this was going away forever
I would always buy extra this when I went into the store because I just loved, loved the way the motion smelled and the shine and left on my body. I am so so so really disappointed that this is no longer offered in the stores. I do not like the other ones they are more expensive. I guess I will be leaving Oil of Olay and moving on to something else. And I have been using this lotion for I don't know how many years now. I am really disappointed that you no longer have this available.
I seriously cannot believe that with all of the comments listed here of loyal Shimmer Quench lotion users that you felt the need to discontinue this lotion! I am one of those who are absolutely bewildered as to why you did this!! This is the only lotion I have used since I started using it, and to be honest, I can't even remember when that was it's been so long. i know it used to be in a light purple bottle. I am stunned! And it also appears that you have lost quite a few customers, myself included. I will never consider another Olay product because of this. There are plenty of other skin care lines to choose from. If you choose to bring it back, I will be back purchasing multiple bottles at a time, just like I used to. Looks to me like you chopped off your nose to spite your face. Good luck with that!
I just want to know the answer to 2 questions!! What Genius in the mid 90's decided to change the fragrance of the ORIGINAL OLAY BODY WASH with the PINK TOP? 2. What GENIUS felt the need to come after we are DEALING WITH A PANDEMIC and SNATCH another COMFORT from US as if we aren't dealing with ENOUGH already? It would have been nice if HE/SHE would have taken our voices into consideration before making such DRASTIC DECISION!! I AM A LUPUS WARRIOR and the OLAY SHIMMER HELPS MY SKIN I HAVE BEEN USING IT SINCE MY DIAGNOSIS IN 2009 & MY SKIN DOESN'T BREAK OUT AS IT DID BEFORE I STARTED USING IT.. PLEASE GO BACK TO WHAT WORKS
It smells really nice and soothes my dry skin.
This is the only lotion I've ever found that I truly loved. It's light and silky, not oily, and smells nice. I'm so upset that it has been discontinued. I've been trying to ration and draw out my last bottle, but it's almost gone. You have like a bajillion face moisturizers…why are you getting rid of one of your only body lotions? Please please please bring it back!

I ran out of my supply from years back and I picked up a new bottle only to discover the smell is completely different! I'm so upset.. the smell it too strong and overpowering. Please go back to the old formula. I need to find a new lotion now.. this was my favorite since the purple bottles.. this new formula is awful and the scent gives me such a headache.
I are been using the Quench body lotion for years. It is the only lotion I have ever used that was oily and didn't have to apply more than once due to dry skin. I've been having the hardest time trying to find it when it used to be stocked at ALL my local stores. Now I know why!! You got rid of a perfectly good and very well known product. It took me years to find just the right body lotion and now I have to find something else. It even worked perfectly for my face. Thanks Olay for discontinuing a product that had nothing wrong with it. I love the product, the one star is for Olay itself. Would've been zero it that was an option
