Pros: Added 8 Gb micro sd card, Sleek/Compact, Reliable Performance, Lots of Storage, Easy To Set Up, Able to change file names, Simple Controls, Long Battery Life Cons: Other thoughts: To protect ourselves from statements being said by others trying to cause us harm by putting us in a legal problem that they created for the sole purpose to cause harm to others and make money by putting others in harms way. Had to record conversations between family members in volved in this and other disbutes!

My only difficulty is in finding how to set up the custom presets. I haven't figuredd out how to set a custom setting to do conference in wma format instead of MP3.

Easy to use, with rechargeable battery, expandable memory and a built in USB connector plus a USB extension cord in case you need it.
Pros: Great mics, Expantion slot, Gret playback options, Large built in memory Cons: Other thoughts: great line from Olympus bin using this line for 6 years this is the third model my old ones still work very versatile never had a problem The usb works like a flash drive no add-on software or cable needed plenty of options e.g. mic sensitivity settings noise removal equalizer slow / fast playback that is pitch compensated so it doesn't sound like chipmunks Easy interface and button layout from my personal experience and info from friends you will not get a better recorder for under 100$

Pros: Big Screen, Uses 1 AAA battery, Compact, Good recordings, Light, Good battery life, Direct to MP3 Cons: Can't record mono, Harder to turn onoff, Large file size, Can lose 5 min batt dies Other thoughts: Device has been working well from the start. Quite pleased with the purchase, which was less than retail even when including the extended warranty.
Pros: Many functions, Easy to use, Quality recording Cons: Lightweight Other thoughts: I purchased this unit to record a lecture I was attending, in a room with 10,000 other people. The sound quality was excellent when I downloaded the audio to the computer. (The small speaker on the unit works, but is difficult to hear recorded adio on.) Easy to use, though a bit lightweight- feels like it could break easily. But so far so good.

MP3 sound acceptable but the WAV recording, just too toppy. Intended to record live performance but although it looked good on paper it doesn't deliver. Menu system is kinda sad... far from clear how the sections are grouped at least it doesn't have tape hiss
Pros: none Cons: Recorded never worked Other thoughts: The recorder came defective and never worked (did not charge and batteries did not work either). I had VERY bad experience with the company. I was asked to return the item (on my own expense!) and they were going to return my money, but they never did. They are saying 'they never got back the product,' even if I showed them proof. I have been buying online for years now, and never had problems with the postal office. Come on, this company is very fishy, first send you a non-working item, then they say they never received the return...... BEWARE!
