The listing title here, elsewhere and on the package says this grommet is made to fit the valve covers. This PCV grommet IS for an AMC V8, but NOT for the valve covers. It is designed to be installed in the rear of the intake manifold. As far as the part itself, it seems to be a good match with the original. There is a bit of flashing left on it from the mold, but nothing that can't be quickly fixed with a razor blade.
