Love it, ive been using it everyday for a month. it clips rite on the side of your pants. I walk 3 to 4 miles a day. Its worth the money and does what it say........
I recently began adding daily walks/jogs to my exercise routine and decided it'd be a good idea to get a pedometer to track my progress. I read a lot of great reviews on this product but didn't want to wait a week to have it delivered so I went and bought a different pedometer at a store. Big mistake! The store-bought item was a pendulum-type pedometer and was completely inaccurate... not to mention, incredibly noisy. Realizing that good things are worth waiting for, I ordered the Omron online. It only cost $8 more than the piece of junk I previously bought, so my expectations weren't terribly high. About a week later, my Omron arrived. The first thing I noticed was its sleek look and easy-to-read display. I read the instructions and entered the correct settings, which is not difficult at all. I liked that it figured out my stride length for me, whereas the cheaper pedometer forced me to calculate it on my own. Also, when the Omron is clipped on, it is hardly noticeable and does not make noise (it's digital) so it can be worn all day long with comfort. The Omron has several modes in which it measures your activity level, which is wonderful! You can see how many total steps you've taken, how many "moderate" or more fast-paced steps you've taken and for how long, how far you've traveled and how many calories you've burned. It also keeps a 7-day record so you can compare your activity level over a week's period. Considering that the Omron calculated my stride based upon my height, I thought its distance measurements would be way off. Wrong! The are extremely accurate. I tested it by taking a path which I know to be one mile long and, sure enough, it calculated it (based on my steps and its calculation of my stride length) at .98 miles. Unlike other pedometers, the Omron doesn't seem to mistake other movements for steps taken. For example, with the cheap pedometer I bought, it would count most single steps as two steps and if I were driving, it would often register bumps in the road as several steps. I don't know how but the Omron ignores these types of motions. In addition to the ease of set up and use, the great functionality with its various modes, the comfort of wearing it and its sleek design, the Omron is also an excellent motivator. It inspires me to go a little further and burn a few more calories every day. It's easier to be motivated to work out more when you can have a tangible measure of your efforts... immediately. For all of these reasons, the Omron is one of the best tools for exercise that I have ever purchased - and the value is superb!
I am very pleased with the Omrom Aerobic Pedometer. I thought I was walking about three miles per day and found after wearing this - that I was only walking about two!!! I have since adjusted the length of my walks and continue to wear it throughout the day to see just exactly how "active" I really am...and all the different readout information is extremely helpful as well!!!
I had previously owned one of these and it broke after much use. I then went looking for another one and all that was in the stores you needed a PHD from MIT to program and use. This was inexpensive, easy and had just the right features. I would highly recommend this to anybody looking for a basic, simple, easy to use pedometer. It stores 7 days worth of information. If you are on a diet program which requires you to record your statistics weekly, this is perfect!!!! I am thinking of buying another one for my husband!
Just purchased this unit and worn it for over a week. It's very small and light so you don't know its there. It stores 7 days of info and auto resets at midnight. Works great and a very low price.
I was very surprised by how accurate this pedometer is. I am so pleased with it. I had one that costs 3 times as much that was not as accurate. I would tell anyone this is the very best one.

Do you walk around a lot and wonder how far you have gone? Going through my day I can see how many miles I have actually stepped. You can use the pedometer to count your steps as well as the miles. You can also use this item to know what time it is after you set it up. Your steps and miles do start over at midnight, so you would have to check the pedometer before midnight. Example: Walking 11PM to 1AM will only show one hour one day and the next hour the second day. Set up your weight and height. It will keep the last seven days and does much more.
This pedometer is great. It tracks 7 days of steps, moderate steps, calories, and mileage. It keeps me on track to maintain a healthy lifestyle. It was inexpensive and well worth the money. I never leave home without it.
I really need to lose weight. But I had no data to track my efforts so I made no effort. With the Omron Aerobic Pedometer I can see my efforts, or lack of it. I have data to realistically challenge myself and measure progress. I love that it tells me how many steps in a day, plus my calorie burn. Beyond that it tells me when I am exercising correctly and really burning fat rather than just a simple walk. It has stood the test of me, meaning it has been dropped and even been underwater and it still works. It is my kind of tool. I would purchase it again and I recommend it for the walkers among us.
