This unit is easy to use, and it appears to be accurate. The software runs and installs well and the reports are easy to read and print. It downloads its information with just a plug and a click. I think my doctor will be pleased with the information I can provide him. I'm glad I bought this unit and I feel that I will use it far more often that a standard cuff. The only draw back is it can track only one person. After my wife saw it she wanted to use it also. Although you can set it to not record the reading so someone else can use it you can't record there reading or progress. Glad I bought it. I maybe getting another one to track her.
This is an easy monitor to use. I was wanting a better way to keep track long term and this does that easily. Connecting to your computer and downloading the data takes just minutes.
I AM VERY IMPRESSED WITH THIS PRODUCT. IT READS BP CORRECTLY.
Works well and is close to reading at doctors office. Comes with software and usb cable. Allows you to download all results, see graphs, save pdf.files of BP history. This is the second Omron Wrist Pressure monitor I've owned in 7 years. Would buy again.
Works well as long as you have the wrist in the proper position. Readings are accurate. Data import into software is simple. Limited reporting and printing options. Expected more out of the software for the price of this unit. Appears durable.
The only critisism I have is that there is no way to verify if it is operating properly, the icons being displayed donot match the icons as shown in the user's manual and I do not know if the blood pressure readings are accurrate.
I believe that the wrist monitor shipped to me is defective. I intend to return it today. If the monitor worked as advertised, I would be quite satisfied with the features and design. The unit gave very low blood pressure readings as compared to an arm monitor by Omron that I have owned for years. I made an appointment with our family doctor that confirmed the low results. A call to Omron and the customer rep said that the results should be within 3 points of an my arm monitor. My results vary from 10 to 20 points lower on the systolic reading. Also, the LED readout is hard to discern. The numbers should be black, but appear to be dark gray. It is likely that I just received a defective machine.
Great product if it was accurate, which is wasn't when taken with to a doctors visit. She recommended getting an arm BP monitor instead which she said were more accurate.
When I first used this product I thought my blood pressure was high. I then went to the Dr with this unit. The top number was registering 20 to 25 points too high and the bottom number was 10 to 15 point too high. My Dr advised me that these wrist units are not often not accurate. This machine cost me time and money to go Dr when I did not need to go, not to mention my piece of mind when I though I might be having problems.
