I ordered two of these items, as I bake professionally, and I could not find this particular size in any store. I had been purchasing the throw away type loaf pans, so the pan has paid fpr itself after three uses. I have used it for breads, cakes and meatloaf as well. It cooks uniformly, and everything turns out just perfectly. I have been very pleased with the performance, and cleanup of the pan. I would recommend it to all.
so far it works good. Just hope that it doesn't rust out like the others.
I bought this a year ago to use for making meatloafs and small lasagnas. Perfect size and the brand I thought was trustworthy. I used it once and when I cleaned it...I noticed a chip the size of dime of the lining came off. Never used it again as I don't care for the flavor of toxic metal chips in my food, thank you. :/
I purchased this bread pan and loved it for the first while but I began to notice two very small spots where it looked like the coating was coming off. Because it is an Oneida product I thought that wouldn't be happening but today I baked a beautiful loaf of bread only to find that there as "silver grey" stuff all over the sides when I took it out. Yes, the coating had come off excessively and I had to throw out the loaf. I am not about to ingest that stuff. I would not recommend this product.
This is a terrible product and should be removed from the market. It worked great at first but now the coating is coming off and leaving shavings of metal on the sides of my bread loaf. I had to throw the bread away because I do not think that would be safe to eat. This is unacceptable. I also took extreme care when washing and did not use any abrasive products on it.
