It made it possible to connect a second monitor to my desktop PC.
I'm a little choosy when it comes to ONN products but I was adding a second monitor to my computer and to my surprise, what I initially thought was an HDMI port was actually a DisplayPort. My local Walmart had this adapter in stock which saved me a lot of time. Works perfect for adapting the DisplayPort to HDMI. No problems at all and my second monitor is up and running. So far so good and the quality of this ONN adapter seems pretty good considering they generally make budget accessories. No complaints.
Simple unit for connecting external monitors to laptops. Does not support resolution for my ultrawide monitor (2560x1080). Otherwise plug
I tried to use this adapter to connect a second monitor to the graphics card of my desktop PC. The PC recognized that a second monitor was connected, but the screen was blank. I had to puchased a 6 ft. Display port to HDMI cable from another company and that works well.
