Comfortable, well built
it turned out to be much better helmet then I expected, however the online purchase thing ended up being a little bit of a problem.
I was looking for a helmet for ATV rides that met safety standards, but did not cost a fortune. This helmet met those requirements and also fits comfortably. The plastic face shield is nice and can be removed if not needed. It would have been nice if a sun & rain shield was available, kinda like the bill on a baseball cap that would keep rain from dripping down your helmet and onto your face while riding. Nevertheless, as stated, it is a good ehlmet at a fair price. I ordered the XL size and it fits me fine ... I'm 6'f" & 250 lbs.
I purchased this vented open faced motorcycle helmet to wear while riding my new atv. I had already looked at and tried on helmets in several retail stores and although they were twice as expensive, this one looks and fits as well or better than the more expensive helmets.
A great helmet for casual use which is why I bought it. Comfortable, inexpensive and fits good, What more could you ask? I rated it a 4 because it could use a bit more padding on top to be REALLY comfortable.
I had one huge problem with the helmet. I wear an XL size and the helmet was still a snug fit. That would have been OK but there are several button type snaps holding the liner in place. These put pressure on spots on my head. Very painful! I removed these and replaced with adhesive backed VELCRO strips and the improvement was great. I do like the visor but so far the stores don't offer replacements. After my modifications I like the helmet. More colors would be nice. Even with good ventilation the black helmet will be hot in July.
