I have physical limitations that require me to spend a lot of time in bed. My tv was on the side of my bed and was difficult on my neck. I had this installed directly on the wall at the end of my bed and my neck is much better. I have a 13" TV in the bedroom - it is perfect for this.
We have a small 13" TV on this shelf and it works great. Only took about 15 minutes to put together and hang. It saves so much room and looks pretty good as well. If you are looking for a wall mount for your smaller TV's this is it. Also, about 10 or 15 dollars less than everywhere else. Don't forget to have this shipped site to store, saves on additional shipping and handling charges with little or no hassle.
Product was easy to assemble and has quite a bit of adjustment range. Very easy to mount and it looks good.The only drawback was the way the DVD option is mounted, to remove it you have to take the TV down,to remidy this just make the screw that mounts the DVD option fixed so you can remove the nut, without having to take the TV off and hold the screw with a screwdriver
Works great, and wasn't too hard to install. Price was the best best we could find. We also loved that it cam with a DVD holder.
2 problems. 1. The directions are very vague and not helpful! 2. The screw that holds the tray is not long enough to add the two washers in the directions... The arm to hold my 13" tv in place was too long and I had to cut it down a few inches (so there goes an upgrade to a bigger TV). If the directions were clearer, then this could be put together in 15 minutes, not the hour it took!!!!!
I bought this product as it was suggested for the Emerson 20 Inch TV. There was a problem though When we got the TV the tube was very large. It did not fit as first but after taking off parts that were not needed the TV was able to fit and use all the features it said. Before ordering this product you might want to consider purchasing the larger sized one. other then the 20 inch TV not fitting which this mont was supposed to fit, The products works great with no problems so far. I am very glad I purchased this product because it doesn't use up much room when you have a small space. You may want to considering buying straps to put around the TV because it is a bit wobbly and unsafe.
I bought this to give my room a little more space and it has really helped. Once I got it installed I have been very happy with the outcome. Putting the TV mount and Component mount could have been easier and would have benefited from more complete instructions.
We bought this for my daughters disney tv. It fits ok but you can't use the top strap because of the shape of the tv. The only problem with this product is the instructions! Take the time to study the picture on the box, it is more helpful than the instructions.
Will I got it to work. The top hold down was useless as I needed to rotate the TV base for proper viewing and the hold down dose not rotate with the base. The top hold down was to tall to even make contact with the top of the TV. There are slots located in the sides of the TV base but the kit did not come with any tie down staps so I had to go back to Wal-mart a second time (40 miles 1 way) for tie downs which I found some back packing straps that worked. The instructions sheet was a guessing game and were not much help. It took me 1 1/2 hrs to figure it out. NEEDS BETTER ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS!!!
The TV mount itself is great. I have one in my garage at home. The problem is, I also purchased one for our tv at work. It's a 20" Magnavox I also purchased at the same time. As a matter of fact, the reason I purchased the wall mount was because it was listed as a suggested accessory when I bought the TV. The only problem was the TV didn't fit the stand! The Tube in the back was too big for the stand to work as it is supposed to. We eventually got it working but not the way it was intended. So the tv has to stay facing one way all the time instead of being able to mount it. Be sure to think of this when purchasing the mount.
