I was not sure what to expect when ordering. I thought the rug would have more brown in it based on the picture. One of the reviews indicated there was more rust which is why I ordered it. The basic colors are the warm gold and rust accent. It really warmed up the room and only enhanced my hardwood floors and furniture. This rug is really, really pretty and a great value.
I had to give this one excellent ratings because for the $75 this is a great rug!! I've spend hundreds on worse rugs. This one is soft when I thought for the price it would be rough. I'm very happy with this purchase! It had creases in it from being rolled up, but laying on it with my dog took care of them very quickly. :)
I absolutely love this rug. It is very soft but like the other reviews say the color is off on the picture. I read the reviews before I bought the rug so I wasn't suprised at all, I actually like the way it looks. The other reviews were very helpful so thank you.
Bought this product 1 week got it the next. Loved the thickness of the rug the color was perfect. Everyone loves it that comes in my house and they cannot believe the price I paid for it, and that I got it from Walmart. It is in my living room and when the sun shines through the window it has a golden glow that makes the room look warm and inviting.
I love this rug!! It arrived very quickly, and was the perfect size. The colors are darker than they appear in the pictures, but I like it better!! It is also very soft to walk on. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it, or purchase another from Walmart.
Like the previous rating explains, the photo on this site looks tan/brownish which is why i ordered it. It came and its more orangey. The scrolls and border are rusty orange looking and the rest is a light gold. If your looking for a tan/brown rug, keep looking! Otherwise, it is pretty.
First, the rug is awesome and if they would package it in something that actually could withstand the shipping process, it would be much better. The rug is good quality, pretty thick, good colors (gold and brown leaning toward rust). It is shipped wrapped in thick plastic, which tore open at both ends resulting in black stains. I love the rug so much I decided to try and clean it before sending back, and I was able to get the stains out after a lot of elbow grease. The scroll pattern is a series of dots, not a solid ribbon of color. That's probably why it doesn't show up accurately on the photo. I purchased the biggest size (9x11) and it's perfect for my room. I have a gold sofa with subtle red accents on the pillows and a rust club chair/ottoman. The reviews on this site helped my decision process, so thanks for the comments about the color. Can't beat the price for this size and quality.
This is a beautiful rug that I bought to put in my newly redecorated bedroom. I have honey colored wood floors and the furniture is a very dark cherry wood and the decor colors are burgundy & gold. I wanted a rug that blended in nicely with the floor without disappearing, but that also wouldnt compete with the dark colors of the furniture & bedding. The colors in the picture represent the rug accurately, and I absolutely love it. I would recommend using a rug pad underneath as it will add more cushion and prolong the life of the rug. It's very well made. It had a few dirty spots along the edges when it arrived, but that was because the plastic wrapping had torn a bit - the packaging could be beefed up a bit. I've received many compliments on it, and people are astounded when I tell them how affordable it was. Very good value, at a very low price.
This rug is great for the price. I returned a rug to the local home improvement center after I found this one online. The rug is a gold/rust color which I had read in other reviews so no surprises there. I did site to store free delivery and was told it would take 10 business days, it arrived two days later much to my surprise. Very pleased.
From the picture this carpet appeared to me to have a brown border,and the scrolls on the carpet appeared to be a dark honey...so I expected "a dark tone on a light tone"...when, in fact, the scrolls are rust, and so is the border. It still works for me. The honey color is beautiful, and looks great with my gold lamp shades and the gold in my curtains. The shipping was very fast. The window was 8/30 to 9/4, and it arrived on 8/29.
