I am quite fond of Oscar Meyer products in general and especially the Kato salami. I like the flavor palette and I think that the way they have seasoned the lunch meat compliments the large variety of cheeses that one might use on a sandwich with the salami. I personally tried the Oscar mayercato salami on white bread with whipped dressing yellow mustard and sharp cheddar cheese slices. I have to say it made quite a delicious sandwich. I feel like they slice the salami at just the right thickness and the convenient reclosable package enables one to enjoy the freshness for with each sandwich they make. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is great for snacking or with some cheese and crackers for a little before-dinner appetizer. The flavor was good but I don't like the packaging - not easily resealable and will leak juice in your fridge if you don't put it in a ziplock. I usually eat keto which means high fat and low carbs so this salami is a perfect, tasty snack that also packs some good protein. It's super flavorful and, at this price, worth trying out. Beware the large pieces of peppercorn that you'll find in this!

I slightly browned the cotto salami to bring out the flavors.Then rolled and sliced them into pinwheels before adding them to my salad. The cotto salami paired well with the sweet craisins and fresh parmesan. I also liked the extra texture and heartiness it gave my salad. I hadn't had salami in forever and didn't realize there was pork in it, so be forewarned for those like my brother who do not care for it. I only eat pork on occasion such as in bacon, so I do not think I will make it a habit of purchasing this meat product. One thing I appreciated was that it was not salty.

It's a little saltier than I like, but layered between veggies, cheese and bread I'm sure I can make it work. I will not likely repurchase this product. Maybe if it was thinner slices I would reconsider cause I could eat it with crackers, but as is probably not.
Well, this is a bunch of bologna. What can you say about bologna to make it sound appealing? You pretty much know what you're buying when you pick this stuff up. I was raised on this stuff, so I don't mind it. It's the best as far as bologna goes, but it's never my first choice for deli meats. My bologna has a first name. It's O-S-C-A-R! The Oscar Mayer Cotto Salami's packaging was easy to spot as well as easy to open and reseal, which is important to me for freshness. I love salami, but this was not my favorite, the texture was too soft for my liking and a bit on the sweet but bland side. Although It's not my favorite I would stir if offered.
