I needed some wireless speakers for the backyard for a party and these worked perfectly. I connected the speakers to outlets, (so I have not tested on battery power), but I luckily have 2 outlets in the backyard, so a speaker at each end corner, the transmitter was inside the house connected to my laptop. Create a playlist and good to go. The sound quality was actually much better than expected, I never had to use full volume, about half way was just right, all in all, very satisfied with purchase.
