Out of all the brands of decaf coffee this is the only one I liked. If I had known Walmart was going to stop selling it, I would have bought a pallet of it. Several sites sells it for unreasonable prices, which is ludicrous. WALMART CAN YOU PLEASE ADD THIS COFFEE BACK TO YOUR INVENTORY? A few negative reviews does not out weigh the people who enjoy this coffee. THANKS
I have bought this coffee about 100 times now and I really like it a lot. I will buy this before I buy any other out there! The only problem is that it is not kept in stock. I have to keep looking until one day it just pops up. This time only 1 jar was in stock. I hope that there will be more soon. I have already recommended this coffee to others and will recommend it to anyone that ask me. Thank you Walmart!!
I have to use decaf coffee. So I purchased 3 types of instant to conduct a personal taste test. The brand Folxxxx was bitter and way too strong. The brand Nescxxxx caused a headache and upset tummy after just a few sips. If you are a butterfly instead of a rhinoscerous this is the brand for you. I mix 1 scoop Pampa Decaf, 1 scoop malt mix, 1 scoop Walmart creamer and 1 scoop Land o Lakes Artic White hot cocoa mix into a 20 oz Bubba mug. ( all ingredients can be purchased at Walmart ) It is delicious, and no headaches. I love this stuff. Now a coffee snob might not agree but I love not getting a migrane and no cramps in my stomach at night when I lay down to sleep. Please dont change this, it is yummy and so affordable.
I used this for a couple of years and liked it over other brands. I don't like strong coffee so it was great. But, my Walmarts in my town have not stocked it for months. The have the regular bot not the decaf.
I drink a cup of instant decaf every evening about 2 hours before going to bed. I was running low this evening on my normal brand, so I bought this as back up. I don't have the complaints about the taste like others, but I do not think it is really decaf. I did not get one iota of sleep all night. Its going into the trash.
Not only does it taste like dust, but I swear it is not decaf. Maybe because I had to use 3 spoons full in order to make it the proper color. Still no taste, and now I'm feeling wired. It's not a bargain if you end up throwing it away!
It's amazing how many of us can be fooled by a low price, at least on an initial purchase. Only that way I can explain how this no-taste coffee is still on the shelves. I hope soon retailers discontinue it, so people are not misled by price. I don't recall having bought and tasted a worse instant decaf in my life.
First I added two teaspoonsful to a very large coffee cup. And then I tasted it and there was no taste whatsoever. So then I added another teaspoon, same thing ... Then another teaspoon ... Then another teaspoon ... And then I gave up I went to a container of instant regular coffee and added a half a teaspoon so that I finally could have some coffee flavor. I've used this jar to make 2 cups of coffee and the jar is now half empty…... This product literally has no taste. I would do better by taking a cup of hot water and pouring it directly into a full jar, but I have a feeling it just wouldn't matter.
If you like coffee with no taste, this product is for you. I used 3 scoops. Nothing. It was just light brown water. I tried it again a few days later. 4 scoops. Nothing. Same light brown water.
I'm only familiar with a few brands of instant coffee and only recently got to the point where I don't mind drinking it black. I figured if I didn't like this brand at least I was only wasting a dollar or so. The dry coffee smelled weak and not necessarily coffee-like. It also seemed a little lighter and chunkier than what I was used to. Once it hit the hot water it smelled like typical coffee but looked a bit light and tasted bland with a hint of something that didn't seem to belong there, maybe like a chemical taste. I added more to the water and it got stronger but still not a potent coffee taste, and that other weird taste was still there. So I added a little more, and it was disgusting! Sure black coffee is bitter, but this was like something else. It didn't taste like coffee at all. It was this gross, kind of salty, maybe something had gone bad taste. Afterwards I felt a little phlegm in my throat, and my throat still feels funny an hour later. I don't know if I got a really bad batch or if it had been contaminated or what. It was by far the worst coffee I've ever had. I spat it out and threw the jar away. I will never buy coffee this cheap again.
