I did my research (a few years ago) before buying a new battery charger, so I have a really great charger. That's IMPORTANT if you want these batteries to last practically forever. I've got an Energy 16 Plus charger. It does great. I have NEVER had to throw away one of these Eneloop batteries. I have some that I've been using for YEARS (by which I mean: more than 5 years). I have an older digital camera (high power device), flashlights, etc. These things have never failed to recharge and never failed to function well. Pros: - rechargeable - practically forever (they claim 2,000 recharges, and I have no reason to doubt it) Cons: - quite a bit more expensive than alkaline batteries, but since you can use them over and over and over and over again, they more than pay for themselves in any device that draws a lot of power (like flashlight or camera or bike lights). For devices that draw very little power (like remote control), maybe it's smarter to use cheap alkaline or even cheaper carbon batteries.
These are one of the few battery brands still made in Japan that has always been known for quality batteries. They actually show a higher mAh rating than shown on the package. All 4 of mine show 840-855 mAh when charged on my OPUS BT-C2400 charger. Great charger also.
I've been using Eneloop rechargeable batteries for years now for my camera, clocks, remotes and other items. The ones I originally got in 2005 are still charging well and lasting a long time, and I've reordered more because they are quality batteries. I'm very happy with this brand.

Probably the best rechargeable AA and AAA batteries on the market. More recharge cycles than just about everyone else 2100. Super high capacity. Almost as power as a Duracell alkaline battery. Buy these exclusively. Always satisfied. Highly recommend.
These batteries are a great replacement for rechargeable batteries in a Panasonic cordless phone system.

These serve the purpose of being a rechargeable battery, but I have an electronic device which measures the battery charge. Whenever I load these in, after charging, the device the registers the Eneloop battery at a 3/4 battery charge. If I load any generic non-rechargeable aaa battery, the device registers a 4/4 battery charge. Maybe all rechargeable batteries have this same problem. All in all, they work fine and recharge quickly.

good price for what a name brand would cost and has the same features.
