This is the best buy for the money. If you want a great shave with long battery life this is the one.
I purchased this for my husband as a Christmas present. He loves it. His biggest problem has always been that he gets the razor bumps, but with this shaver, his skin is all nice & smooth. I think it is a great deal for the price.
After owning a dry shave Norelco triple head for years (which I hardly used because it lacked the close shave of a razor blade ) I used this Panasonic shaver wet in the shower with very nice results. I also put in a shaving mirror in the shower to make it easier. It shaves great around my chin which I always seem to nick/cut easily with a razor. I also tried this shaver dry but the shave is not as close and seems more abrasive to my skin. Easy to clean with just soap and water. Also don't let hairs get too long or it won't work well. So far it's been great.
great shaver for the price. this is the fourth panasonic wet or dry shaver I have purchased over the years and they have all worked great.
I have had 3 brauns over the years. This shaver beats them all. The single head shaves like a quietly possessed weed eater and you can really tell/hear its working. Nice thing is I have to shave a spot only once or twice. With the tiny holes in my old braun they had gone to a very small foil hole pattern and you had to shave FOREVER. I also found out you dont need 2 or 3 foil heads. Its all marketing baloney and actually this single foil is far more effecient and effective. This shaver can give a little bit of a rash on the neck but this is easily remedied by applying less pressure. I could not be more pleased with the product, the cordless charger, looks, weight, size, which is relatively small and so easy to handle. It is a huge value for the price ( 1/3rd of my braun's price). I am delighted with it. :)
I have been using electric razors for 30 years and have the high end $150 plus razors of the all the leading manufacturers....Believe me when I say this razor's performance is hard to tell from the others I mentioned......Those multi blade and specially tuned motors features are a lot of hype.
Good value for the money. Works great on facial area. Does not do a good job on the neck area. Shaves best when using shaving cream. Very little irritation.
Every five years or so I get the idea that I should try an electric razor. This one was tempting because it was reasonably priced. I'd have to admit now I am leaning towards switching permanently from manual shaving. I love the plug-in adapter without the cord. The shave is closest when using shaving cream in the shower and close enough when using it dry. The only difficulty I have is the neck area; extra pulling and stretching of the skin is a must, if you don't want a hair line in the crease of you neck.
it works alright.. but youre better off going for a triple head shaver. it has real problems with the neck. its also not a very close shave at all. if youre really patient itll give you a good, or at least passable shave. its ok. but if i had it to do over again i would not. repeat, not buy this razor. go with a semi cheap norelco if youre looking for something that isnt that expensive but to work well.
I chose this product because I'm familiar with the Mfg. and their quality of product. I also know that WalMart offers quality products at a very fair price. These are some of the reasons that I purchased the Panasonic ES-SA40-K Pro Curve Wet/Dry Shaver. The other reason was for Medical Reasons. I couldn't afford to cut myself shaving. This shaver allows for a close shave without nicking or cutting yourself. One low point is you have to get use to how this shaver shaves. I had 2 1/2 days of growth on my face and used a shaving foam and it didn't get as close as I liked but after a couple of times (4 times) using this Shaver. It got as close or better than one of my older Electric Shavers.
