I wish I had bought this much sooner. It shaves just as close as most blade razors and no razor burn on my legs. You can use this in the shower but I think it shaves much better on dry skin and when you consider the money that you are saving by not running water when you are shaving the value is tremendous. The only thing that could make this product better is if you could shave with it plugged in but that is a minor problem. Another thing I love about this razor is that you can clean it with ordinary liquid soap and running water.
This is absolutely 'The Best Value' in an Electric Shaver I have ever found, and I've been using electrics only, for 35 years now. - The Ravor has a great feel in your hand. - A closer shave than any other electric shaver, and I have owned and used the top 5 brands. - I'm going into 4 years now, using this same ravor ! - Easy maintainence, I replace blades once a year or so... - I have an average / light beard, with fair complexion, and this Panasonic just works great.
It has been years since I used an electric/cordless razor. This one is the best. It gave the closest shave and I was more than pleased. It is well worth the money. I also loved the swivel head and the smaller handle.
I do like the way it works better dry than wet, but I would highly recommend this shaver either way, very good shave.
I like this shaver, it works well and is easy to use. The only down fall that I find, is it does not shave as well on my neck as I had hoped. Overall though, it is great for a pretty close everyday shave and it is easy to maintain.
This product did a very good job of shaving, even after changing shaving head (screen) and cutters after many months of use. However, I found that some moving parts are made of plastic and now, after less than two years of use, one of the plastic clips which holds the shaving head in place on each side of the razor has broken. Even more recently, a spring in the shaving head has fallen out. Bottom line; shaves well, but plastic parts make quality less than stellar, so I am shopping for a new razor already.
After reading the glowing reviews about this product, I decided to order it for my husband. He has used a Gillette Sensor razor for years and has been fairly pleased with it, but I wanted to get this shaver because he won't change the blades as often as he probably should. Hubby tried both wet and dry shaving, and it did not provide a close shave at all. The only thing this shaver did was irritate his skin and caused some ingrown hairs. I tried it on my legs, both wet and dry, and I had to do several passes over the same spots to even tell that I had attempted hair removal. It irritated my legs too. I really wanted for one of us to like this shaver, but for $90 plus the another $13 for shipping and tax, this shaver just doesn't cut the mustard, or the scruff for that matter!!
