I received this complimentary of influenster. I was skeptical about this because 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioners never do anything for me but I absolutely loved this on my hair. My hair felt nice and soft after washing my hair with this. I would definitely recommend this product.
I am an African American with very kinky textured long dreadlocks. Shampooing is usually a very tedious and lengthy process. I normally have to use a shampoo that is strong enough to wash out the oils and hair dressings that I have to use daily to keep my hair from drying out, then I have to use a good deep conditioner every time to undue the drying from the shampoo. I saw this Pantene for frizzy hair on sale at Target, so I decided to give it a try. It is the ONLY product that is not specifically for Afro textured hair that I've used that did not dry my hair out. It actually cleansed wonderfully while softening and conditioning at the same time. Almost like magic. Please don't ever stop selling his product - it is amazing. I never thought I could use a 2-in 1, but this is great.
I recently switched hair stylists and my new stylist was so amazed that I use Pantene over expensive salon brands. My hair is smooth and shiny and I have very few split ends. I've recently started using the dry shampoos as well to help get more time between my colors.
So many negative reviews! I think most of you simply didn't choose the right product. I have wavy hair, which becomes extra frizzy in the New York summer. With my last shampoo, I would usually add a dab of argan oil after showering in order to tame my hair. With this new Smooth product I no longer have to that. It shaves off a few minutes off my morning routine, and saves me a couple of dollars from not having to buy extra moroccan hair oil. But best of all, my hair has never looked better! And unlike many other reviewers, my hair is not left greasy whatsoever! I'm very happy with this product and my gorgeous locks. However, I'm disappointed that this website assumes I'm female.
Omg I can not express how much I love this I am biracial and my hair is so frizzy and gets so tangled. I only bought the conditioner because I had a shampoo at home I was already really liking. This conditioner left my hair soft, moisturized, and you can literally run your fingers through my hair good job Pantene
Pantene Smooth & Sleek 2 in 1 is another duo that hasn't worked for me.The consistency of it is nice and lathers well. It didn't leave my hair feeling smooth, soft, or frizz free. From the first use I had to use another conditioner. But I do like the fragrance, it's a very clean smell. Received this product free for testing & my honest opinion.
I've used this product daily for a week and it makes my hair look extremely greasy. I continued using it for so long thinking my hair just needed to get used to a new product. My hair is not excessively dry, but it does frizz out sometimes or it is wavy. I can't stand how greasy it makes my hair look and feel and I hate myself for spending over $6 on a brand I love only to find out that I hate this product.
Smooth, AKA Always Smooth AKA Smooth & Silky - Smooth was a great shampoo for red-heads, that have more hairs than blondes etc, but thinner hair that gets frizzy easily; especially in the NE's humid weather. Please bring back SMOOTH; or at the least create a reasonable substitute.
This product made my hair oily and look oily as well. It looked as if I didn't was my hair for weeks. Wish they would stop changing the products I can't find one now that will work with my hair.
I am very unhappy with the product. When I wash my hair I not only want it to feel and smell clean but I also want it to be sleek and frizz free. This shampoo does not do what it says. My hair feels sticky ( I rinsed my hair several times after shampooing) and it's all puffed up. I do not recommend this to anyone.
