These are excellent pens which write very smoothly with a medium line weight. No smearing like gel pens. Hard to find, however. The 550 and 700 series models also write just as well but the pen bodies are too big. The 300 series feels too cheap. The 500 fits easily in a shirt pocket, is comfortable in hand, and has a nice non-slip grip. Took awhile to find a good replacement for the discontinued Papermate G-Force Lubriglide pens, but this is it.
