This came assembled and ready to use. It has a grate for cooking, a mesh cover and a poker and is very solid. I have been thoroughly enjoying. They sent along a cover for free which will definitely help to keep it in good condition without rain getting inside.
Love this fire pit. I looked at all kinds of grills and pits. A bit confusing with all the same looking styles but I chose Patina's because of the 5 year warranty and no assembly. I like the simplicity of stars and moon. It is really cool when it lights up at night. I've had it for a few months and it is great!
Our new fire pit arrived earlier than expected and well packaged. We have used it many times already and it is a delightful addition to our back yard. There is nothing much better than star gazing with my lovely wife, listening to some tunes and enjoying a smooth bourbon with a good cigar! Life has always been good and is now a little better [...]!
Love this fire pit! It is sturdy, easy to move around, comes with waterproof cover, grill, domed mesh lid, and poker. I drilled a few holes in the bottom to let rain water out in case I forget to cover.
Should have bought this years ago. It arrived Saturday and we've had a fire every night since. Lights very easily with a few pieces of kindling and some newspaper. The moon and star cutouts provide plenty of oxygen to the fire so it blazes nice and burns down to just ashes. As a base we put down four 16"" paving stones on the lawn. Now we can all sit around the fire at night enjoying our favorite beverages and smoke a few cigars.
I just blew through a Landmann's fire pit just like this in 4 years (got it for xmas) and the bottom's totally corroded out. Spend the extra $75 for this one--it has everything that counts--solid construction (not parts screwed together), a cover, and even a 5-year guarantee on the main unit. And it makes a wonderful fire. The only thing I liked better with the Landmann unit was the handles on the actual grill make it easier to remove.
We've had several fires already and love our new fire pit! We enjoy seeing glow through the moon and stars cutouts. Just the right size fir us!
This product is just the best thing I hsve brought for myself for a long time. It is so great I can't wait to use it. Ordered it on a Wed. an it was at our house on Fri. morning.Our grandkids love it to so they can roast hot dog and marshmellows to over the fire. I looked at alot of firepits,but what sold me the most is it had the grill top ,so we can fixs alot of thing and when done have a fire for the evening with the firepit cover. Just love it keep up the good Quailty.
We had originally thought we would build a natural stone fire pit on our new patio, but had hesitation of it being a permanent fixture. We are extremely happy with our choice of fire pits & use it frequently!
WE LOVED THE LOOK AND USE OF OUR FIRE PIT THE FIRST YEAR WE USED IT. THE SECOND SUMMER WHEN WE STARTED TO PUT A SMALL PIECE OF WOOD IN IT WE NOTICED IT WAS TILTED. SO WE LIFTED IT UP AND ALL THREE LEGS FELL OFF AND THE BOTTOM FELL OUT!! THE WHOLE THING HAD RUSTED THROUGH! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT, NOT TO MENTION THIS WAS A BIRTHDAY GIFT FOR MY HUSBAND, SO IT WAS EMBARRASSING, TOO! WE HAD ONLY USED IT THREE TIMES THE SUMMER BEFORE,NOW WE CAN'T USE IT AT ALL. IT AVERAGED OUT TO $100 PER USE---YIKES!
