We're using this as an extension of our current coop for additional sleep space and a safer run for our hens if we're not in the yard with them. I wasn't sure what we would get because the price was so good, but this is a really great product! So the fact that it was affordable and a nice product was a double bonus. It goes together quick and easy and looks really nice. It is super light and we have a problem with big racoons so we will be staking it down. Other than that I'm very pleased.
Delivery was fast, easy to put it together in between my wife and myself, took about 15 min. with a hand drill. No hardware missing. After assembled my hens (5) had enough space it pour rain for two days and the chicken house was dry, material solid wood . I am happy with the product and the price....

I am speaking for the people I gave this to. Overall they feel it is a good product but the assembly instructions were not the best. Ramp attachment poor and they have decided not to install them. Screws for some areas too small. Latches also not the best.
I bought this product for my giant lop rabbit, who loves it. The only problem was that the instruction leaflet was labelled incorrectly. There were two step number threes instead of three and four which made it a little more difficult to put together at this point.
We are generally pleased with the unit; we have it set up in our unfinished basement as a home for one rabbit. The unit did come with more "assembly required" than expected, but I was able to get it put together despite the poor instruction set. Like many others have noted, I made some modifications to the unit for our situation. The unit is definitely suited for indoor use only (which is how we use it). I think it would get damaged with much outdoor sun/rain exposure. In addition, because of the length of the unit, I would not regularly move it unless I had modified it to be on a plywood surface with wheels - it is not stiff enough to endure frequent movement. One final note - one of the pieces was broken in the original shipment; I called and requested a replacement piece be sent, and it was - promptly and at no cost to me.
For the money its fine. In some joints; misalignment is present. The cap is not as stable as it should be. It is easily lifted off, letting out the pets. With a little time, wood glue, and know-how makes this a very nice hutch/coop. Again you get what you pay for. It IS worth the money.....
We bought this to use as a chicken coop. the materials seem to be well made and should work well for our needs. The only thing that makes this less than a 5 is the assembly instructions. There are 6 poorly drawn pictures and no words to show you the entire assembly process. You can't tell which pieces are to be inset and I ended up having to take the entire thing apart and put it back together with the side pieces on the outer edge of the front/rear pieces, rather than inset as the limited illustrations show. Other than that, it was easy to assemble and all necessary parts were included.
It's a nice chicken coop, but needs some improvements. If you are raising baby chicks, it's impossible to get them in some areas. Hinges should be added in 3 areas and on top.
We spent the extra money to get a nice big cage for our rabbits, however, we are not impressed with the flimsy screen. Not sure it would keep predators out very well. Also, there isn't enough places to hang a food dish, water bottle and hay holder in the wooden house, you would have to put them outside in the screen area, but then they are exposed to the weather. I would not recommend this for rabbits.
