The birds LOVE this seed blend. I hang it in my rock bed with my roses and always have plenty of sparrows, some turtle doves and even a few chickadees.
i purchased this bird seed for my window feeder, and within 24 hrs i had 4 blue birds on my back deck! it was all bc of the meal worms! love it, will buy again
Birds love it. Song birds will fill your yards with whistles and tweets. If you consistently provide the feed, they will bird nests nearby and you will have lovely bird songs everyday.
I've been filling up my feeder for a month now with this. It has a good variety and not a ton of filler
Pennington Select Birder's Blend attracts a variety of birds! We have seen many more cardinals since switching to this blend.
I had gotten a lot of different birds like morning doves, Brown sparrows, cow birds, and every now and then I'll find me a nice cardinal out there
I have purchased this before and consider it a good bargain and not bad as far as quality goes. The only thing I don't like is there is way too much millet mixed in compared to other ingredients. I have many birds that visit my yard and I fill all the feeders each day. Since my yard has been designated as a wildlife habitat, I enjoy taking care of the birds. I do get squirrels that raid the feeders which I don't like but that's another story. This is really a good find for me since I like to give a variety of seeds to the birds. All birds love sunflower seeds and this blend has plenty so I will purchase it again.
Great blend of seeds. The birds love them. Surprisingly the sunflower seeds that fall to the ground easily start growing giving a small sunflower grouping. This 40 pound bag is the best value.
While these seeds are not as superior as are The National Audubon Society's Supreme Blend they are better than what I've purchased from Kaytee and from Supermarkets. As the photo shows, the quality is definitely better than average. Birds are happy to eat them.
Its a good mix that attracts a variety of birds, but mixed with sticks, straw and bits of paper. Disappointed, because I thought this would be a better quality. I have never found sticks and paper in generic brands of bird seed.
