I have a location on the side of my house that only get 2 1/2 hours of late afternoon shade. It has been a maintenance nightmare where I have tried rocks, mulch and many hardscapes. It is always a weed trap. I planted a 4ft x 2 ft test strip just to see if the seed would take. Within 7 days I had noticeable sprouts, within 10 days I had nearly full coverage of light green grass, within 14 days, lush, thick dark green grass. Full coverage. Could not be more happy with this product. I will be planting the full 32 ft x 6 ft section this weekend. I did put a very light layer of hay/straw over the top to protect from rain runoff and wind.
