This was the first time trying this Icy Cool Mint and it worked just as well as the other Pepcid products. Where this one differs, is that when you place it in your mouth, it leaves a light, cool, minty flavor just prior to swallowing it with a glass of water. I've never had any pills that left any pleasant flavor, until I tried this one. I really liked it and the flavor lasted about a minute. I received this product for free form Home Tester Club in exchange for my honest review of the Pepcid AC Icy Cool Mint medication.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product works as expected. I woke up one night with pretty severe heartburn from eating a spicy meal later in the evening. I took the Pepcid and was able to go back to sleep within ten minutes, so I liked that it worked so quickly. I took away one star because I personally thought the menthol/cooling effect was a bit too strong for my liking. It was also odd to have a cooling effect on an antacid when I normally expect it on cold medicine or a cough drop. It didn't seem like enough of an added benefit.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This pepcid works just as well as the regular pepcid. The cool mint doesn't really do much for heartburn, as it isn't chewable or dissovable. So by the time you swallow the pill, the cool mint flavor is long gone. I wouldn't go out of my way to purchase this heartburn medication.
